In a weird way, I have grown an attachment to your old house, especially since I saw you vlog everyday in that house for the past two years! It's gonna be so weird to not see you bake cookies at night in that kitchen or talk to us in your office wearing your tortilla blanket or see your dance parties w Flynn & Erik in the living room. Having said that, I'm so glad you found the big backyard you guys always wanted for your kids and I'm so excited to see the new memories you make in your new beautiful home with your family of 5!! I ADORE that Erik said "This is a big deal" to Colleen before Flynn went down the slide! Just letting her know how much it meant to Flynn and how big of a reaction it needed. Parenting 101: make your kids feel like their achievements (though they may feel small to you) feel like real achievements.
I feel like the classic Colleens house of the past 5+ years has become a character of it's own, so many people lived there at one point, so many eras of Colleen occured there, its just kinda crazy

I think a lot of people missed that this is a rental not their forever home..but super freakin cute for a rental for you guys!! It’s super smart to see if you can do the “small” town life before taking the jump and doing anything permanent. Can’t wait for the future vlogs here and happy forever home hunting✨

I have to say, it is going to be so weird to see colleen in any other house than the house where she made whipped coffee and bread everyday, tested random gadgets with rachel, had so many thanksgivings and christmas dinners with the ballingers, made so many miranda videos, got married to a miranda song, brought Flynn, Maisy, and Wesley home to, opened so many packages, made so many cookies, Flynn first walked in, and so many more memories. But i am so proud of her and happy for her and can’t wait to watch her and her happy family make so many new memories!!! ❤️❤️❤️

For a while I had thought she downgraded which I didn’t quite understand, but the more of the house she showed, the more I understood why this was an amazing choice. Thought the kids might miss the pool but the background is huge, the playground is so adorable and the outside dining was nice. What really blew me away was the guest house AND a separate office “house”. By the end I was like yo this is wild

Having lots of babies myself, I feel like this house is very much a family home compared to her last house. Her last house was cute, but sometimes those new builds with huge ceilings can feel cold, no matter how you decorate, which they did quite well. This feels like a beautiful family home that can be lived in, especially with that magical yard. I hope this makes sense since it's more of a feeling than anything, so I can see if others don't get that vibe.

I haven’t watched in a while but it’s so nice seeing you babies so happy and healthy. I’m sure if you could look ahead to this moment it would have provided you so much relief when they were in the nicu. Also I’m obsessed with this house you should try to buy it from them
Maybe buying a lot or a "tearer downer" and then building from scratch so that it perfectly suits you would be a better option for you guys than trying to fit into something that already exists. You can take the things you loved about your old house, the things you love about the new house, and make a perfect space for your family. Doing an experiment of living in a new place without a major commitment is a brilliant idea!
It’s so sad that the twins don’t have their cute little rainbow room anymore with the secret door entrance that’s connected to Flynn’s room. 🥺 Hopefully they can have rooms like that again soon! 🙂 Great house tour! 😍 Hopefully u all enjoy living there! 🥰

That's amazing!!! I feel for anyone buying right now. We thought about selling last year but then we didn't wanna have to go through the hassle of buying lol. We've lived in our home 18yrs. This is a great idea! Something about my house that I lOVE is having the laundry room connected to my master closet. It makes doing laundry a breeze, especially when I have 2/3 kids clothes housed in my closet. It would be hard for me to give that up! I thought of this when Colleen was going into a different part of the house to do laundry. Hehe!
In California, there are a lot of strict rules and restrictions. It can be really tough. It’s also hard with inflation/shortages making the cost of materials and labor higher than heual
@@pieper_plans_memories omg I'm so jealous 😭 my laundry set up is in my garage and my house is split level so I have to go down 2 sets of stairs (also 2 kids... lots of laundry)

I love how you treat the place you are renting like it’s your house and not describe it as less than. Renting is the reality for many people and you should feel a sense of accomplishment when you find one your whole fa,ily is happy and safe in.
Colleen this house is gorgeous!!! Also, I think you might love living in a more suburban area so much that you might never wanna go back to living in a big city ever again, and I mean that very seriously.
Not to say that I don’t think living in a big city has its perks or that it might be a good way of life for some people, but I think that for your values and you as a person, you are really going to get a lot out of this way of life. I also think that it’s going to do a lot of good for the kids.
I’ve been here since before the last house. This space is the first one that really reflects your personality so much! I love it, and I think the kids will love it too 😊

What a beautiful yard for the children and you all to enjoy so much. Having seperate office space will be amazing. It is hard to work from home with children around without distracting and joining them. Very smart to rent and see how moving from the big town feels while you continue the house hunt. Bittersweet to see Colleen and family move. It feels like I am moving! I didn’t realize how comforting it was to see them in their space and how that was familiar to me. I think I am uneasy because it is a rental and they do not have any of their personal items such as Flynn’s special truck bed. I hope they find their own home soon and transitioning goes well. Does Kory live with them again now?
