Thanks for the comment! We can’t think of anything that we would change. But as a GA ticket holder, a picnic blanket and hand-held fan made the experience a lot more comfortable.
Our 3-day shuttle passes were $130 but it can depend on which shuttle location you choose. There were single and 2-day passes as well. Ours was the most expensive package out of the 3 locations because it was in Dowtown which is the nearest location to our Airbnb. We didn’t receive shuttle purchasing information until the month before the GP. Hope this helps!
Hi! Concerts are open to all attendees. We did not stay for any of the concerts but in general it would be best to get to the sets earlier to get closer to the stage.
it seems like you had GA tickets the entire weekend, did you ever camp out to get good seats or went there around 8 or 9am and look for the best spot you can find?
The best view for GA is near the main grandstand. People usually camp out or go extremely early to secure a spot there. We got to COTA an hour before the drivers parade and that area was already crowded. But there are plenty of great views around the track. We used Day 1 & 2 to check out different spots to get an idea of where we wanted to watch the race. Look for a spot with some shade (next to grandstands/bleachers) and with a good view of the screens.
The best GA spots are near the main Grandstands next to Turn 1. But that area fills up very quickly. For the race, we really enjoyed our seats near turn 3.
what air b&b is this? do you have a link you could send me? I am traveling from Alabama and clueless about finding a reasonable priced hotel. The air b&bs I'm finding are almost an hour away. How was was public transport and shuttles?
Hi! I don’t have the link to this Airbnb, but I recommend you look at Airbnbs closer to the event date. Our original Airbnb got cancelled, so we booked this the week before the event. There were many affordable options near the University. The price was much more reasonable than booking months in advance. But we completely understand, finding affordable accommodations near downtown Austin is so difficult during GP weekend.
Yes, super comfortable once you break them in! I recommend wearing cowboy boots at COTA since it’s really dusty there. We were covered in dust and dirt by the end of each day.
Sorry, we do not know the exact location of the building. We stumbled across it while walking around Downtown Austin. It looked like a pop up, and not a permanent location for Williams.
If I were an F1 driver and I saw ya'll at the race I'd stop in the middle of the race just to adore you two lol
this will be my twin and i next year. our ticket packages are purchased! this has us so excited.
I’m so glad to hear that! We’re still debating on which GP to attend next year!
Super love this vlog. You guys are so cute!
Thank you 😌😌
All your outfits look really cute. Btw, that Mexican food looks very promising.
Loved this vlog, very helpful - I'm going solo this year!
We’re so excited for you! You’ll have a great time 🫶🫶
Love it! ❤
This was good informative Vlog. 👏. What would you recommend or what would you do different if you have to do it again?

Hi! Quick question, for the concert did you get a general pass? Do you have any
recommendations on how to get closest to the stage?
Thank you ❤

Can foods such as prepackaged sandwiches, croissants and chips from 7/11 be entered into the race? Drinks too?
Yes. We brought our own snacks and drinks from 7/11 actually! We had no problem getting into the venue and through security.
why cant you keep all the pictures ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
