'57 for me - but I'd be thrilled to have any of them truth be told.
1956 stands out
If Stevie were here he'd tell you to hand him that '56 and then he'd turn into something holy. 🙏😇
The ‘56 is the sweeeetest.🎸
55❤
57's It's Great.
I can't decide... I think the '57.
For me, the fiesta red 58 sounds the best. The 55 has more bass it seems, and sounds very good but I don’t think that’s necessarily a good thing in a band situation
1956 excelent
57❤❤❤
Beautiful
57 nako sound!
1956, hands down

57 fur me
And just think, these are multi thousand replicas of cheap instruments that cheap day laborers built in the 50’s. The math doesn’t add up to me. At least for fenders with bolt on necks.
These are originals, no? Either way they werent cheap unless you think $2k+ (todays value) is cheap for a guitar.
@@identifiesas65.wheresmyche95 To be honest, I said that without knowing the actual facts (I assumed). I looked it up, and you're right. I stand corrected. That gives a lot better perspective on things. Thank you.
@@Aaron-zh4kj Good on you! I've heard this before though and I think an argument could be made that quality instruments were just more expensive back then, and that fender provided good quality at a good price for the time.
I am entirely with you however, the only guitar I have is a mexican classic series 50s and its really quite accurate for about $950 (7.25 radius, vintage frets, nitro lacquer although I dont think thats standard, vintage hard case).
The custom shop $5-10k reissues are no doubt great instruments but they're in an odd category - not really for poor everyday people (unless you really value your guitar A LOT) but also not for people who actually want vintage. Likely if you can shell out $8k without worry you can save up to $30k or whatever a real 50s cost. Its pretty odd - I agree.
That 56 is way better
