Always love it when I get a notification that you have posted a video. Enjoy your retreat travels and I hope to attend that one someday soon. Take care.
I would love a stitch with me video, as I admire your stitching, and also your decorating. I've been a bit out of sorts too, as I have been canvassing for my Congressional candidate in the 90 degree heat and humidity, taking care of everything at home, and helping my Mother with all of her needs. Plus I make a few folk art crafts to sell at a local shop. It's hard to do all of that in this heat, which takes it toll. Thanks for being patient with Morris, he really is a cutie.
So nice to visit with you again, Suzette. Hope things are slowing down for you a bit over this weekend so you can get some down time. Love all of your projects, of course, and I’m looking forward to seeing what fall stuff you start. I’m starting to get bit by the fall bug, too! Happy stitching!
Thanks Jan, that weekend just flew by! I have so many WIP's that I want to work on and sooooo many patterns I want to start. I really need to retire so I can stitch all day! I used to think that life would slow way down when all my children reached adulthood but it just seems to be busier than ever. One of these days I hope to catch up on all the videos in my feed ....aaaah ...one can dream!! Hope all is well in your stitching world. Suzette x
Yes please, a stitch with me video! The beginning and end of school are always the worst...hang in there! You have the best attitude. It’s so sweet of your son to spend time with you and I know you treasure those times. As always your stitching is gorgeous!! Have a great week.
LoL CraftyCat Stitcher! It's more like UN-decorating is his not so hidden talent! But he greets me every evening with a very sweet meow and all is forgiven. Happy stitching, Suzette x
So happy to see you! Oh I love your Halloween piece by Shakespeare's Peddler, I need to add that to my stash. Looking forward to a "stitch with me" video too. Happy Stitching Suzette.Margie
Thanks for your video. I love your calm acceptance of what is and your soft spoken manner. You are very easy to listen to and watch with your beautiful sunflower background. I always look forward to your next video.
I hope your work gets easier soon. I’m sure you are an amazing teacher and put your heart and soul into it. It’s so good to see you and all of your projects, but spending time with family is so important. Thanks for sharing it all with us!
Hi Suzette! I am so happy to hear from you. Your stitching is as beautiful as ever. I hope things calm down for you soon and you have lots of time to stitch. I have not yet gotten to my Summer Sampler, but hopefully sometime soon. Take care....Crystal.
Hi Crystal, So good to hear from you again! I'm hoping that things slow down and I can find a comfortable routine again. Smurfette and I are certainly not racing to a finish on the Summer Sampler so you have plenty of time to join in. I have really enjoyed the bits that I have stitched so far...so pretty! Happy stitching, Suzette x
Love the bee display, so pretty! Morris is such a character - LOL! Loved seeing your wip updates! I look forward to meeting you at the October retreat! Happy stitching - Laura
I love your beautiful sunflower display in the background. A stitch with me video would be a real treat whenever you can find the time to make one. Hopefully things will settle down for you in awhile. Thanks for taking the time to do a video for us in spite of life being so hectic for you,it's much appreciated..
I think it's so wonderful that your son wanted to spend time with you :) And oh yes, please oh please, when you can, do make that stitch with me video :) Absolutely would love to see it! Congratulations on all your lovely gifts - you bring such warmth and joy to everyone with your videos so it makes me very happy to see others sharing that joy back with you :) Thank you for sharing as always and I hope Morris behaves himself a wee bit ;)
I always love seeing what you're working on. The October retreat is going to be AMAZING!!!! We are not going to want to leave! :D Wish you were coming to Galleria -- it's going to be a blast, too. Not enough time for all of the needlework goodness.... Hugs - T
I totally relate to starting a new school year. Exhausting for sure. As you well know, it does get better .... thank goodness! Your stitching is so lovely and I adore how you've arranged the fall display. It didn't looked like Morris had got to it yet ..... he's too funny. What would we do without our fur babies! Blessings.
I’m so excited that you’re coming to the October retreat! I know this time of year is so exhausting...all three of my children are educators and they’re dragging right now. This too shall pass. Love your sunflower display! Blessings, Marlene
I love your scrolls! Do you have a video, or would you be willing to do one, on your scrolls, where you got them, how you set them up, and how they work? Thanks for sharing your update!!
Hi Rhonda, thanks for visiting my channel and for your sweet comments! I mostly use the Lokscroll frames from Artisan Designs. A Google search will bring up their website with lots of size options. This company is a one man show but he's been making these frames (and stands) for over 20 years. I bought my first lap stand from him in 1997 through my LNS and it's just as beautiful today as the day I purchased it. Hope this helps. Happy stitching, Suzette x
Suzette I am seeing all of these wonderful journals you made at Midwest cross stitch retreat. Do you make them to sell? I would love to have some! Beautiful work!!
Thanks so much Beth for visiting my channel and for your sweet comments! I will begin selling the journals and thread books this coming weekend on my Facebook page under the name Primitive Stitcher. I've posted a link in the description box of my most recent video. Happy stitching, Suzette x
Hi Lynn, I think you are talking about the Little House Needleworks Farmhouse Christmas. I order mine from 123 Stitch. I bought the 36 count raw natural linen 18 x 18 piece. I think I said it was Weeks Dye Works Tin Roof but it's actually from Zweigart. Hope this helps!
Busy time of the year for teachers and the little people. Beautiful stitching. That pocket and pin keep are darling.
So great to see you back doing video...your display looks wonderful....cats are cats....they so whatever they want....I who you have a great week

Morris sounds like a character! "Decorating" must be his hidden talent! Great to see you. I hope you soon get into a routine at school.

I read somewhere that a 6 year old cat has only been awake for 2 years of it's 6 years :) The fabric you dyed for Jenny Bean is amazing!
Thanks Mari...that tidbit made me laugh! I think I want to be a cat in my next life!!

I cried at the end of Deadpool 2 aswell, not once, but both times I've watched it.. lol..
Think of me when you decide to pass the Stacy Nash chart on. I would love to have it. Just my style!
I love your scrolls! Do you have a video, or would you be willing to do one, on your scrolls, where you got them, how you set them up, and how they work? Thanks for sharing your update!!
What type of scroll rods do you use? Namely the one with Farmhouse Christmas. I need to invest in some. Thank you. Love watching your videos.

Oh and what size did you buy to do it? Thank you!
What is that block piece called? May I ask where you bought it? Love your work!

If I wanted to stitch it on 16 count aida what size of material would I need. I suck at trying to figure this out. Thank you for answering me.
