Enjoyed your video. Your finishes are beautiful. Stitching is awesome. Wips are looking fantastic. Your haul is beautiful. Glad you and yours are doing well. Happy stitching.
CHARTS...OMG!!! I think I have bought in excess of 30 to 35 new charts!! I'm losing it!! But, I love them all!! Man, what BEAUTIFUL finishes you have stitched to add to your collection!! Isn't PANDEMIC itching to be started...me too! I want to stitch it ALL black with maybe some good motifs since this is her 25 th ANNIVERSARY! I want to have a black sampler wall! Hurry back...love your video!! HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY IN 2020!!
Karen, your comments make me giggle! I've tried really hard to be good this last month but it has been a struggle! I had to put Pandemic in the file cabinet because it was tempting me so. I've also been thinking about a black sampler wall and even have a wee start on collecting for it. Christina Webber's Marking Sampler by Shakespeare's Peddler will start mine off. Many happy hours of stitching to you dear lady!!
Hi Suzette, so good to see you again. Thane is a cutie pie. I have a black lab named Jenny. Very lovable and loyal. Enjoyed seeing your stitching. I also order from Kitten Stitcher. I want to look up the other shops you mentioned also. Happy Stitching! Pam Miller
Hi Pam, so good to hear from you! I've had dogs before but this is the first black lab I've been around. He is so sweet and seems to learn much faster than any other breed I've had. He is such a joy! He follows me everywhere until my son comes home from work and then they are inseparable! Wishing you many hours of happy stitching!
Happy to see you tonight Suzette...we both have Covid 19 need of haircuts...mine has never been this long...and all during our 53 years of marriage, I never knew my husband’s hair was curly 😜...I am glad everyone is well and hope that an injunction will happen to keep the school closed...I live in Virginia and they will not open school here and where my grandgirls live, the school’s will be closed...my daughter supervises the new special education teachers and she will be busy with those video’s and the girls will have to do video instruction...they even do 4H and Brownies by videos...awesome finishes and stitching...beautiful haul...best wishes for your all’s safety...and hope you and your students receive the necessary PPE to avoid this virus❤️
Thanks for visiting Loretta! I hope you are well and getting lots of stitching time. Thank you also for your best wishes...keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well with what happens over the next month or so. I just want every student and school employee to be safe and healthy!
Hi Suzette, thank you for taking the time out to share all your lovely finishes and projects!! Every time I watch you, my wish list gets longer lol :) Thane looks so sweet :) Keeping you and your school in my thoughts. Laura
Thanks for your sweet comments Laura! Sorry about the enabling...the same thing happens to me!! I hope that you are enjoying your summer and some great stitching time!
Good to see you Suzette! I love your Americana decorations. As always great stitching. I too have taken a no more patterns stance - until I’ve stitched some of my stash anyway lol. Blessings from Nebraska!
Nice to see you, Suzette! I love your pets, and hope Thane does well when you go back to teaching. All of your stitching is beautiful. Love your patriotic display, too. Stay well and be careful out there. Happy stitching 🧵🌺🥰
I’m a new viewer and I really enjoyed watching. I can’t wait to follow your progress on Dolly Fowles. I received mine and wasn’t too sure if I would start it, but I think it’s going to be one of those where the chart picture doesn’t do it justice and will be so pretty stitched up. I also loved your new charts and I had to add Mary Bovee to my wishlist. I had a lot of fun, and I’ll see you next video
Awe, thanks for subscribing! I agree about Dolly. I don't mind muted colors sometimes but I think she will surprise us in the end. Mary Bovee was a pleasure to stitch and stitched up faster than I expected. Now if I could get the other Stacy Nash pieces to stitch up as quickly! I just found your channel and will have lots of fun binge watching as I stitch! Happy stitching, Suzette
So many finishes! Beautiful as always! I understand the stress for school. My daughter is supposed to start kindergarten and she's refusing to go saying she wants momma to teach her at home. We have too figure this out since I don't get to stay home.
Nice to see you! Your stitching is always so beautiful. Loved all your finishes and WIPS!! I'm going to Hobby House Needleworks in about a week!! It's about 4 hours from where I live. I've ordered from them quite often and I just love how fast they ship orders out! My friend and I were going to Nashua NH for the Celebration of Needlework but it was cancelled yesterday because of the plague. So we decided to take a road trip and spend 2 nights in upstate NY. There aren't many Covid cases there.NY is in pretty good shape since the curve was flattened. My 96 year old Aunt had a mild case of Covid but she is doing really well and didn't need to be hospitalized. Stay safe ! 😊❤
Hi Laura!! I just saw you have a new video up so after I finish all my comments I'm going to sit, stitch and enjoy! I hope that you were able to take your road trip to Hobby House and loved every moment of it! I used to live in Nashua NH but had little babies and hubby was always deployed so never made it to Celebration....someday!! I'm still on for Midwest in November but I'm afraid things in Iowa aren't looking promising (nor here in Missouri for that matter). I'm going to hold out as long as possible before sending Michelle my cancellation. As always, thanks for visiting and for your sweet comments! Stay safe and stitch on!!
@@primitivestitcher385 I was able to make it to Hobby House Needleworks! What a great shop! The owners were very sweet and so helpful. My friend and I spent a few hours there and bought lots of things! Linens threads,scissors,patterns...all the things! I hope you can have a great stitching weekend! Fingers crossed for your retreat not getting cancelled!😊❤
It is so good to see you:)). I am worried about you going back to work! I hope the school will reconsider virtual learning. I love your finishes and always enjoy the patterns you pick to stitch. Thanks for sharing. Barb
Love to watch your stitching progress and hearing your life update. Remember, all you can do is take ownership of your own actions. Covid will be with us a very long time. Your patriotic display is beautiful! 😷
Oh my, your stitching is lovely! So many beautiful finishes. Seeing them is very inspiring. I’m so glad you introduced Thane- even if he was napping 😊. His raised bed is great! Suzette, do you have a favorite mask pattern?
Hi Laurel, Thanks for visiting and for you sweet comments! Sorry this reply comes a bit delayed. I have used a couple of patterns. I'll try to link them here: sweetredpoppy.com/how-to-sew-a-fitted-fabric-mask/ ruclips.net/video/cf3ZFpVKhrA/видео.html My son likes the second one best while myself and my daughters prefer the more fitted one by Sweet Red Poppy. Hope this helps!
I just requested 31-34 Blackbird from a lending library . Your finish is awesome. Please tell me you will finish those pieces especially the last one with little border?
Great catching up. Finishes are lovely. Thane is a handsome boy... Its been sooooo humid here I can't take my Tim very far....I'm afraid of heat stroke . Thane will adjust ......I play a radio all the time for Tim when I am at work. It cuts the quiet & gives him background noise. I agree hair cuts & highlights have to wait...although I have taken to trimming my own hair...yikes 😄 Stay safe Enjoy your quiet time in stitching. Blessings~
Hi Sharon, Thanks for the visit and for your sweet comments! It was the same here with the heat and humidity but this week has been lovely. We've gotten morning and evening walks in! Thanks for the radio tip. Will definitely give that a try. Stay safe and stitch on!
I have been looking at the Hobby House website too, planning to buy some linen from her. I've been kitting things up like crazy. I'm very concerned about this effort to open up schools too soon. It seems some politicians want things to look "normal". People need to realize that although the virus has completely disrupted our way of life, it won't be forever. We have to live this way now, but someday there will be a vaccine and treatment, just as we had to deal with polio, for example. Right now we need to settle down and sit tight and not spread the virus. I personally think schools need to wait, especially with the younger students.
Thanks for stopping by again! :) I totally agree with you. People (who are most likely not stitchers or crafters) seem so impatient. Our city finally adopted a mask mandate but people are out and about like crazy. So the number of cases in our city, county and state are on the rise. I'm sitting tight and stitching!!!
Thanks for visiting Cheryl! I think I will frame that one. I have a very large pile of finishes that are patiently waiting for frames (and an equally large pile of frames in the basement waiting for me)! Happy stitching, Suzette
Hi, Enjoyed everything You've finished and I'm with You with doing inventory on all My charts and I have to say, I hope I can live long enough to get half of them done! I am definitely not shopping for anything until Market 2021 ( if there is one) lol, I hope My will can refrain anyway! Take Care and look forward to seeing You next time!
You can do it! I've taken to putting things in my shopping cart and revisiting them several days later. So far I've ended up deleting the items after having another look. I also try to remind myself that I have club kits coming from Country Sampler to look forward to. It's a bit of a struggle but my bank account loves me again! :)
I watched your project bag video the other day and wanted to thank you for a great tutorial. There were some tricks I was glad to learn. I hope to get done made and will show them on my FlossTube in a few weeks.
Hi Wendy, Thanks for stopping by and for your kind comments! I'm so glad that my tutorial was helpful. They are a bit addictive...you can't seem to make just one! Happy stitching and sewing, Suzette
You said SO MANY THINGS that I've been thinking lately!! Wanting to finish WIPs, not feeling like starting things, wanting to stitch from the charts I already have. You were reading my mind my friend!! Oh! And wearing masks!!
Hello ! The School series looks absolutely beautiful. Congratulations on your wonderful stitching.

Such beautiful work. Now I want to get back to Let Freedom Ring and Eyes on a Sparrow too. I like your idea of stitching 3 days on samplers.
I just subscribed and enjoyed your video with all the lovely stitching.
Thanks for subbing May! Happy stitching, Suzette
