That was an awesome video, Doc. You mentioned about 10 albums I haven't even thought about in decades that I will need to go dig up somewhere. I was surprised Sabbath's Live at Last didn't make it on. It was released in 1980 but the recordings were from much earlier. I do love that album even if its not perfect and was originally released without the band's approval.
I can't believe you brought up Cheap Trick's Can't Hold On from Found All the Parts. What an awesome song. Possibly my favorite of theirs

My mom and dad belonged to Columbia records and tapes, they would you a record of the month and you had a short amount of time to send it back or you paid for it. It was 1978 and we got sent " double live gonzo", my folks gave it to me. My cousin and I were listening to it and everytime we played Wang dang, we had to turn it down during his intro rap, because if my parents heard " get the FUCK out of here! " My ass would be in serious trouble. Back then there were rules and innocence. Unlike now
Killer story
I was addicted to Columbia House Music Club. I bought Powerslave, Last in Line, Love At First Sting, W.A.S.P. '84, Lick It Up, and Pyromania, just to name a few. When they shut down, I was crushed. Still am.
I got you one better I used to do the same but one night was too stoned and forgot to turn that part down. My mom did hear it came in took it off my turntable broke it in half and threw it in the trash. 🤬🤬 good times.
