I’ve been doing sinking funds for years and still works for me and makes financial budgeting easier. I did physical envelope before but shifted to digital one and it is much easier and takes less of my time. Automate savings is the key! I have my sinking funds in Capital one and each funds are in HYSA too.
How long does it take for the funds from your Marcus accounts to move back to your checking account? I use CIT because at the time- they had the highest rate, but I feel like it takes forever for my money to move.
I have Marcus, and it usually takes one day to transfer *from* Marcus to my external checking account. They advertise 3-5 days. It takes longer to transfer *into* it, but you still get the interest as if it were an immediate transfer.
When you say you have 8 sinking funds does that mean you’ve opened 8 other bank accounts that you deposit in to or do you just use one? Edit: sounds like you’re about to answer this now
Hey there! Sinking funds really are game changers, aren't they? They can make such a difference in managing finances and planning for those unexpected expenses
Hey hey!! This is not related to sinking funds, but I would love to know more about how you got into being a financial coach. How did you start and what would you recommend to someone that is looking to get started?😊 I would love to see a video on that if you’d be interested in doing one!
Great video Leila! I love our sinking funds 🎉
What about Moonacy Protocol? 2.5% daily is pretty impressive!
Love Ally banks bucket feature for sinking funds!

Hi Leila I have a question please
I realized yesterday we must increase our pet sinking fund. We are also saving up a 3 month EF 😊❤😊
