Master of Mural Painting / ചുമർചിത്രങ്ങളുടെ ആശാൻ

In this episode we get a chance to meet Mr.Nalin Babu M , master from the school of Mural arts is promoted by Guruvayur Devaswom and is the only one of its kind. Mural painting in walls, clothes are all taught here.
A mural is any piece of artwork painted or applied directly on a wall, ceiling or other permanent surfaces.
Kerala Mural is truly fantastic and historic.The earliest of these murals adorn the walls of the Thirunandhikara Cave Temple in present day
Tamil Nadu.
The Kerala Mural digs deep into tales from the Puranas, the Ramayana and the Mahabharata,
and depicts deities like Vishnu and Shiva in all their glory.The colour palette consists of just five colours - Panchavarna or red, yellow, green,
black and white and the colours are derived
from natural sources.

Very interesting video.
The artist has explained the mural art form in a very detailed manner.
However ,what spoilt the video was the loud back back ground score which drowned the artist's views .
It would have been better off without this distracting music.
Another aspect is that presenter's voice was barely audible.
Thank you for the effort put in.
