Yeah, I get hand cramps from playing on small devices, but I don't play them for more than half an hour at a time anyway. And there are better options for big screen gaming (like a PC, lol).
How come the vs over the v? Was gonna get the v but is there a benefit that the vs has over it's more expensive, more spec'd out brethren? Or is it just that you don't mind it not having touch screen plus the other features

Now this more my kind of sized handheld I have the powkiddy rgb10 which I find really small and uncomfortable to hold for long periods this being similar in size to the gameboy sounds much better and that nice big screen is great
This device is like how they made the 2DS from their flip version. This is like how RetroidPocket made the flip. And in some ways, this may be better than, or what the RetroFlip may be missing.

The biggest disappointment for me is the thumb sticks not feeling smooth or accurate it really doesn't make any sense unless its a firmware issue. I could care less about there rom sets easy enough to setup my own card been there done that even though it is nice when you don't need to do this. Interesting device maybe one to own once they fix some issues.

A while back I got a data frog hand held which was pretty awesome until the internal battery system went kaput. . Temu gave me a full refund for returning everything but the memory card. I happen to have an Intel compute stick, so I was thinking about seeing if I can get the data frog memory card to work with my compute stick. Wish me luck.

Other question--- you mention this device not having HDMI out , however there is multiple sources saying that it can output video throguh the USB-c port (of course, throught the use of a specific USB-c to HDMI cable or dongle or converter or whatever). Is it possible for you to test this? USB-c itself and Android can certainly do this, however I guess it needs the porper software, in addition to the correct USB-c controller/port, however it might... and apparently it does, according to other souces. in any case, thanks!!

I guess i was a little misled on the performamce of this chipset. I figured it would be a little more plug and play with gamecube. After gammaOS on my 405m, im getting nearly every title i put on it to run in a playable state, but with dolphin, i cant run many in vulkan without bad graphical bugs, and with opengl, i have yo heavilt underclock many titles down to like 30-50% to get them smooth. I expected that for ps2, but not gamecube. So im getting a perfectly playable experience, but id like to see a proper walkthrough on how to set up stuff like ps2 and gamecube on this chipset because i feel like maybe im doing something wrong, being unable to use vulkan on almost any games Also im not using thr mmjr branch of dolphin, just thr google play store dolphin. Is that perhaps the issue? *edit* lol im an idiot and didnt get far enough in the video yet
I understand it’s geared towards a specific audience, Seems like a step backwards to me though. They created a near near perfect device with the RG353M . A metal shell,HDMI out,duel sd cards and instead of refining the already super popular device upgrading chips and screen and what not they choose to go off on a tangent with every other device instead. honestly I don’t get it Apple didn’t become a trillion dollar business by creating a popular product, dropping that design and then making something completely different. Anbernic customers comment all the time what they want why don’t they watch these comment sections of these videos themselves. They are on their 7th or 8th version so far , figure it out.
You can get it from Anbernics website but it costs more. Buying it from Anbernics store on AliExpress is safe (you need to be careful which sellers you buy from on Ali)
I received mine, and the 34 GB's of games in a second folder in the PSP games folder were already populating when I used Anbernic's front-end, it had no problem locating those without me needing to do anything, they were already there. Maybe your issue with not having them populate was in the Android PPSSPP app?
Yeah, I don't understand why Anbernic even bothers providing ROMS. They put a bunch of effort into the hardware quality and then go for a cash grab with those crappy rom sets and the crappy SD cards. I guess it makes them some money because they keep doing it. Maybe it's offsetting the baseline consumer price of the hardware. If so, then I guess it's a win for people in the know. Personally, I'd rather they just gave up on those ROM sets and just focused on hitting a real home run with every single device. When they nail it, they really nail it.
Question... If i found a deal for 72 euro (at current exchange rate would be below 80$) for this, including the 256gb games card... Would this be good? I guess reason is that the device is a bit "old", probably, at this point... But looks almost too good to me, am I wrong?
Its just not a good looking device imo. I cant see myself picking this up, but for those who are 100% ergonomics and want a vertical system, well, yeah it works.
