U can’t take average value of a square graph as V/root2 .. it is for sine curve only and more over rms and average values r not same... there r is exact way to do this question.. 1. Draw graph for power vs time - from this u can get it right or 2 (another wrong method)average V here is = Vmax Average I is = I/2 *1/2 ( average of triangular graph is I/2) and u have to multiply by 1/2 as half a time there is no current... and I have problm in method 2.. bcz we have to use rms value which is I/root3 .. so better to go with method one... Bcz the current wave not a exact triangular form.. it is a type paused saw toorh pattern.. to calculate rms to that we need to go through interpretations... we can not approach by this way....

If u observe carefully it's not a trangular wave it's a sawtooth wave So I average = I/2 usually In this case half of the wage is there So I average = I/4 And for a square wave V average = Vpeak So V average = V here Thus P average = V x I/4 This is the way you should approach. I included a correction in the description 🙌
@@PhysicsSimplified The point mentioned by Ahamed is right as we cannot apply I/root2 when the wave form is not almost a sin curve. if you wish I'll send how can we have that from simple integration of the curve (for the rms) . I hope the method mentioned in correction is ok since the question has two identical halves in both curves in same time intervals.. if not that method also not correct. then we have to consider the variation of the power with time...
