I feel no guilt exposing this but Ever since VHS And DVD media have been becoming less accessable and everything has went to streaming I've exclusively pirated all the tv and movie media i watch Went though many over the years And its actually true that you can watch the newest movies on the website all be it on low quality with audio shifts to throw off copyright bots, But once the official release on streaming platforms come out the websites always put the HD version on the website Some people may say what I'm doing is bad ... But to me it's awful that now if you want to watch a certain movie you gotta have multiple 10 dollar a month or more subscriptions to 6 different apps just to be able to watch a single movie you want And when you don't keep paying it gets ripped from you and they force you to pay to watch I would happily pay for all of those movies and series if they actually released DVDs with non Blue-Ray versions in physical stores But they don't.. and if there are new movies or series on DVD they are only available to buy online... Thats why to me piracy of movie or tv media is ethical because if companies don't want to do the bare minimum and release physical media that people would pay for then its not gonna hurt them to pirate it
