It's been a while but WE'RE BACK!
this is just true for basically everything in life not just osu. effort and believing you can do whatever you're trying to do is just how to be more successful in life full stop. now yes theres a whole lot more than just those two things, but they are probably up there with the most important ones, cus if you put effort into anything, and believe that you can do it, then you will, and it leads to you having more confidence in yourself
^ believing in yourself goes a long way but once you actually start to put in effort the result will naturally come and as you said it goes for anything in life not just osu.
While I don't play osu anymore, I enjoy watching your content and have watched your other videos in the past and it reminds of how my journey started and ended. I think I dedicated around 400hrs of just practicing and getting better at streams after I hit 4 digit. Sadly I cannot stream anymore cause I play just for fun sometimes when I log on occasionally. But the mindset to improve almost always carries over to real life and I think that's the most valuable thing osu has taught me.
Exactly! Hours varries from people to people when it comes to improvement howeeäver, mindset is the most important thing even outside of osu!.
Mindset plays a big role in improving in honestly anything. A rule of thumb I generally go by is to just not touch the game if I'm not feeling there mentally cause there are some of those days, but it genuinely has helped me in the long run with everything.

@@Velleosu I think the reason a majority ignore it is because they don't understand how much a mindset can impact how they play. It's especially bad when they start to bash themselves when they can't improve at the rate they want to.

my jump aim improved so much after playing very difficult jump maps (it was like 7.2* maps when I started and now its close to 8* and some 8* maps) or even harder maps with Relax (for me it was 9* at first but now 10+ stars)
One map I'd recommend for this is Samama Festival (Katagiri Remix) mapset with Sunflower diff on 210, 225, 240 and 255 bpm (ofc you can slow it down or speed it up if you want) its the best jump map I've played like I choked a pass on 240 bpm diff and its 8.8* while I only have a few 8* passes the jumps on this map feel so comfortable to hit
But yeah, mindset is very important, thats why AryN's video is so stupid and bad
I like to say "I can't... yet" instead of just "I can't"
