- After almost two years of traveling around the world it was finally time to make it back home to Norway. In this vlog I show you what its like for a Norwegian to come back home. What rules apply and how do you go about doing your quarantine? I found the perfect place! 😍

Oh, your place looks like the place where my sister lives in Larvik. It's overlooking Farris, the fresh water reservoir in Larvik. How I miss the place and Norway.

I have seen the vlog when you and Ave spent some time at that cabin. I recall that long boat ride where you guys ended up paddling back from a long ways. I recall that beautiful sunset when Ave filmed you taking a plunge into the lake for an afternoon dip. Nice road trip too! I have watched most of you and Ave's videos when you guys where still doing your long distance dating. You guys were meant to be!
I did a "semi" backpacking trip 17 years ago through Scandanavia and got to visit Norway and its beautiful Fjords. I recall feeling poor because we found things to be a bit more expensive there so our go to budget meal would always be at the gas station for the hot dog with potato salad! Never had it that way before but it was good and affordable! Haha! So funny that you brought this up. Brings back memories of my earlier travels. I am off to Greece and Italy tomorrow so I'm really excited to be able to travel long distance again since the pandemic started. Enjoy your quarantine and rest at your cabin. It's the perfect place for you!

It was my first time to be in Kristiansand this summer. We drive one hour from kristiansand after we visit the Dyreparken. I have been traveling outside norway for many years bec of covid we stayed in Norway last yr and this year. Cabin life definitely relaxing. Your cabin looks nice Martin. ☺️

Thank God you arrived safely in your homeland Martin and allowed to spend your quarantine up in the woods where it is more refreshing, isolated from other locals or tourists, and with the best weather you have there now to fully enjoy being in quarantine even outside the cabin! I've been watching all your vlogs before in Norway with Ave but it was mostly covered with thick snow and you can truly appreciate all its beauty during the summer. Do rest well as long as you can and yes, maybe do some canoeing down the lake again, but make sure you don't get stranded like before with Ave in the middle of the lake...lols Got to see you reunite with your family and close friends once again, Enjoy your stay in Norway!!

The cabin is the place to be. Lucky Ave. The breath of fresh air makes a lot of difference from the humdrum of society. Would love to see a campfire night with Ave and a bbq. Hallo Martin, Welcome back to your home country. I love Norway, it's my other home as I have many families living in Oslo and the surrounding areas. What a special place and the cabin that your Grandpa built is epic. I can imagine so many lovely memories there. Your family's cabin is peaceful. Safe travels and enjoy time with your family and friends. Enjoy nature, fresh air, and most importantly the solitude and peace when you are by yourself to get re-charged. The taste of Norway for me is the smoked salmon and Brunost cheese.

It’s been 2 years since I’ve been back to Norway to visit with my cousins in Ringebu, I miss it like crazy used to go twice a year.
