    This is the best case I've ever owned but I got the black version not the white. The white seems like it'll get ugly fast. There's so many places to mount hard drives and lots of room for cable routing. The airflow is fantastic. My last case I had to have the side off for 10 years to get enough airflow in because I had to jam all my cables in a tight space

    Meh-sh indeed. I feel you misread the vertical bracket though. Doesn't this one require removing the original 7 slot horizontal bracket section and replacing it? So it isnt up against the glass?

      You're right, it does replace the regular pcie brackets and it does sit more inside the case.

    Does the 12900K heat up considerably more than the 5900X? I'm trying to pick my next case, I've got my eye on the Lancool III but it's been difficult to compare temps with all the different setups that youtubers use, I'm guessing the III would do better than this one regardless of CPU right? Can't really tell how the Lancool III compares to other cases in the market, but i assume it's at least as good than the Lancool II mesh.

    Found this looking for more info on the case. Not a fan or RGB, will swap anyway. Going AIO for CPUnand GPU. Case is one of the few that state the front USB C is 3.2 2x2.

    Too expensive for such a chunk of plastic. O11 Air Mini is miles ahead. System will look filled and yet perform great using a high end Aircooler.

    • @canarychrome7012
      @canarychrome7012 2 года назад +1

      Yeah the Air Mini is a pretty good case, do you own one? you rate it?

    • @marinipersonal
      @marinipersonal 2 года назад +2

      @@canarychrome7012 owned for a while. Great case. Got a Corsair 7000D now for a huge watercooling build and to change a bit from Lian Li O11 variants. Tried every O11, except the O11 Mini. The O11 Air Mini and the O11 XL are the best O11s each on their own. The XL accommodates a lot of hardware. Water cooled aimed case. The O11 Air Mini may feel a bit cramped when building, but is fantastic. Using a M-ATX board may free up some space, but regular ATX fits fine. Also it allows proper coolers like Dark Rock Pro 4 or Noctua NH-D15 without issues. Build quality is spot on. Bottom intake is a blessing for GPU and you don’t need to populate every fan slot, but using Arctic P series fans is cheap and efficient. Only thing you may have to be aware is if planning on a vertical GPU mount, pretty much forces you to use an AIO for the CPU, as the GPU will overlap the CPU cooler. Using an AIO, can be done but then you need to measure the GPU if using a front intake AIO or may go for M-ATX and get decent top clearance for AIO install. Side position can be done but depending on your AIO the tubing can get on the way of the fans.

      A lot of cases don't include fans so having 3 for free is awesome. I highly recommend keeping the 3 air intakes, otherwise you're relying more on a hot bottom/floor facing PSU fan for your intake. The glass traps air and heat on the inside so getting more ambient air into the case is better. I do highly recommend at least 1 fan in the back blowing out though to keep the circulation going or you'll create an oven

    Hate accessory rails on cases as they are always easily lost and then you can’t secure the HDD anymore.

      I'm running this case with the 3 RGB in the front, 1 in the back that I purchased, 1 on the CPU, and of course the PSU fan. I didn't put any in the top (yet) and it's runny very smooth and quiet. As time goes on and the fans start to wear, dust begins to gather, and summer temps rise; I'll see if having something on the top to push more air out will be necessary or not

    It has baffled me for years. Case designers are fine with creating 470x470mm cases "for mATX" (which is 244x244mm) not to mention ATX+ fridge sized monsters, yet they are somehow scared to add even 10mm of width? As a fan of mATX I have seen dozens of those sold that don't fit my shelf, yet somehow can't house most regular air coolers either just because of CPU cooler clearance missing 5mm. Also the cable management bulge. Like wtf? I ended up cutting my own case from premade. 50% less volume, 100% more sense.
    Also the thing, that case manufacturers can't decide whether that should be a plumbers dream or air cooled case? Trying to sit in 2 boats and thus designing mediocrity.
    Finally last time I bought (included) CM fan was ~5 years ago. Maybe they are better now, but I can't see a real value in having them preinstalled. So why pay for that? Huge, boring, expensive case? That removable top is a good feature though.
