    Very thorough, most shops will just get a kid from the oil rack to swap plugs...Air? Dielectric grease? Gap tool? Anti sieze? Cleanliness and patience? Whats all that??

    very helpful! When I tried to take off the plug from the ignition coil, part of the plastic came off. It still clicked in after i installed the plugs. Do you think I should do anything to reinforce the plug or is it OK as is? Also I used a magnetic tool to take it out after I unscreed the old one-it helps

    Great job bro very informational but can you please help me in finding out where the cam intake solenoid is located or how to replace it on the 2015 Hyundai Sonata sport 2.4 GDI. Thank you

      On the left front of the cylinder head just in front of the intake manifold there’s a hose that goes over have to push hose aside to get access to it about 4 inches above the alternator unplug the connector by pushing on the tab and pull connector off use a 1/4 inch 10 mm socket with 6 inch extension remove the bolt and spray some brake cleaner at it and twist it back and forth and pull it should come out, just make sure to spray inside the hole to remove carbon build up and lube new one before installing with oil hope this helps out

    What's the gap size for the plugs please? I have the same car and just changed the plugs but it's rough idling in park.

    • @richierock1300
      @richierock1300  2 года назад +1

      Usually pre gapped as long not smashed or bent .045

    My cars mileage is at 81000 should i do a spark plug replacement?

    • @richierock1300
      @richierock1300  2 года назад +1

      Yes sir would do every 60,000 just so they don’t freeze in there or build a lot of carbon on the end abs make it hard to come out

    Shouldn’t you have made sure the gap on the spark plug were at the right measurement? This is the scary thing about taking vehicles to shops that skip steps because they’ve “done this a million times”.

      I hear what you say pretty much all spark plugs are pre gapped from factory that’s why I do a visual inspection of the spark plugs to see if the electrode is bent or cracked porcelain I feel the inspections are more critical than just checking the gap that’s why brought it up on the inspection of the plugs but yes you are right I should mentioned checking the gap
