Nick Lane needs to hear this talk. six days ago he gave a talk : The electrical origins of life - "what is synchronizing the cell." ...

Omg I thought I was the only one who referenced Nick Lane in comment sections 😂 now I want to go re-watch his talk then this one again… Stuart makes a convincing case and so does Nick

@@starxcrossed If you really want to understand quantum biology then I recommend Physics Professor Basil J. Hiley on noncommutativity! He was the collaborator of David Bohm. Hiley did a talk to Stuart Hameroff and Roger Penrose - it's an unlisted youtube talk. If you search on google Emmy Network Mind and Matter symposium 2021 - that will give you the youtube link for Professor Hiley's talk to Roger Penrose (and also a talk by Hameroff and another one by Penrose). Then Hiley published in 2022 a chapter on quantum consciousness stating that noncommutativity means that quantum coherence can be maintained into the macroscale!! Hiley points out that by not understanding noncommutativity then quantum biology has thus far dismissed quantum coherence as unnecessarily "collapsing" for the macroscale. And turns out Eddie Oshins, working at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, where he coined the discipline "quantum psychology" - Oshins also realized that noncommutativity was the key secret of macroscale quantum biology as nonwestern alchemy - aka "neigong." thanks

@@peterkay7458 I recommend reading Basil J. Hiley and Paavo 2022, aka Hiley, Basil J. & Pylkkänen, Paavo (2022). Can Quantum Mechanics Solve the Hard Problem of Consciousness? In Shan Gao (ed.), Consciousness and Quantum Mechanics. Oxford, UK: - it's freely readable online. Just before the conclusion there's a paragraph pointing out quantum biology has been wrong thus far for ignoring noncommutativity.

Regarding the Chinese xenon isotope experiment, nitrogen 14 and nitrogen 15 also have half or integer spin. So the anaesthetic properties of nitrogen gas enriched for nitrogen 15 should be different to un-enriched nitrogen.

the cilia hypothesis for bird migration 1/2 spin detection - very fascinating indeed! The quantum biology tech lab at UCLA dismissed quantum bird migration since the cryptochrome didn't have quantum coherence long enough (something like that). Anyway so yes from nonwestern deep meditation there is a permanent magnetic bliss in the center of the brain and this magnetic bliss gets dramatically stronger around the full moon and the solstice and equinoxes! There is also an increase in charge - which originates from the 1/2 spin - and the virtual photons. So the cilia hypothesis is an awesome connection. Dr. Mae-Wan Ho's quantum biology work ties into that as well.

This theory deserves far more attention. In one of the videos I watched, Stuart says its better to be criticized than ignored. I want to see every little discovery that branches off of this theory and others, it seems to me to be the most promising theory and people regard it as woo way too much.

You would need Attoseconds for the quantum nonlocality and the femtoseconds in petahertz would indeed indicate the "collapse" of the nonlocal 1/2 spin into a particle.

so i am guessing you got this from the 1:08 time stamp?
or was it from Greg Scholes 10>18 atomic nuclei? for the magnetic resonance?
      femto 10>15 resonance dipoles
so my question is do you think there is something in between atomic nuclei and GR space time curvature, for example plain old SR and something like the double slit single photon self interference?
i suspect to be honest and make an easily disputed claim that life learned to operate at just around the planck time limit or distance because we see quantum entanglement being used in photosynthesis whitha lot of hand wringing say8ng oh no that is too warm and far too wet for any quantun bs

@@peterkay7458 I sent Stuart Hameroff the fascinating 1963 master's thesis of Andrew Cochran that cites David Bohm and Pascual Jordan for the origins of life. Cochran relies on life from "low heat capacity" as negentropy. 1963
The application of quantum-mechanical concepts to biologicalThe application of quantum-mechanical concepts to biological
      systemssystems
      Andrew A. Cochran
Cochran then cites the same "pi electron aromatic ring resonance" bonds that Hameroff relies on. So this creates what are called "Dirac Cones" but in actuality this is noncommutativity. So Cochran argues that atoms have consciousness. Hiley and Bohm called this "active information" and Hiley now relies on noncommutativity. What noncommutativity means is that Heisenberg discovered reality as nonlocality is due to "transition frequencies" - before any measurement takes place. Bohm and Hiley called this involution - but it means that time and frequency are more fundamental than spacetime. Alain Connes explains this more - you can find his talks on youtube. He is the "father" of noncommutative geometry. Hiley emphasizes the physics more than the math. Essentially the imaginary number is a phase change as an action that is nonlocal. Math professor Louis Kauffman also describes this well - how it takes time to make any external measurement as velocity. This time of the measurement causes the phase change.
In terms of biology from Stuart Hameroff - the key factor is ultrasound of the microtubules. What I discovered in my research is that tinnitus research has proven the highest sound we can listen to externally resonates INTERNALLY in the brain as ultrasound! Hameroff's research group has discovered the skull actually emits ultrasound waves also. Anirban Bandyopadhyay's research group then discovered the strongest conductance increase - 3000 times - of microtubule electromagnetic energy amplitude is ultrasound. This means the tubulin inside are relying on quantum coherence that is superluminal.
Denis Noble, the biologist, also emphasizes the tubulin in cells as the key to evolution and DNA - the tubulin in the water in the cells. Not just neurons. So in the tubulin you have these aromatic resonance rings - from tryptophan and hemoglobin as Cochran points out - just like chlorophyll is also an aromatic resonance ring.
"The low heat capacity of organic materials tells us that almost all atoms of living substances are in the same energy state they would be in at the absolute zero of temperature.
“Because of their low heat capacities, proteins are largely unaffected by the pelting hail of quanta and thermal disorder that constantly bombard them, and this is one reason that they are able to maintain their high degree of order and organization over long periods of time.”[40] Put another way, “wave” (as opposed to “particle”) “preponderance” typifies living things."
So the room temperature superluminal signal is actually the noncommutativity of the overlapping spin that is nonlocal and also nondualism in terms of active information protoconsciousness.
Since it is noncommutativity it is beyond size as Roger Penrose emphasizes - as well as Gerard 't Hooft in his "Light is Heavy" article with Martin van der Mark. Meaning matter is actually made of light but light has relativistic gravitational mass due to the 1/2 spin of matter. So this means virtual photons are NOT just a renormalization trick but as Basil J. Hiley has proven the renormalization trick of Richard Feynman is incorrect. Planck's constant has to be squared and then the time-frequency as a quadrature is realized to be inherently noncommutative. This actually is the truth of music theory as well as Alain Connes points out! Ironically ONLY Alain Connes figured out this truth of music (but I also noticed this truth of music as a teenager) - you can see my book "Ancient Advanced Acoustic Alchemy" for details - it's free online.

Dear Stuart, I took part in your conferences in 2006-2008 and enjoyed this lecture, this is a great progress since then! Did you think of teaching the microtubule to do basic math, basically create if not a computer but at least a calculator out of it ? Sorry for the weird suggestion but the idea is not just to show that the quantum processes are going, but to show that this particular quantum process really demonstrates some abilities of consciousness
