I'm literally break out more tears when Eric hugged Bomin, that boy is really sensitive when it comes to his friends and I'm wondering what he feels that time. And Golden Child really did a great job, Jangjun is literally friendly to all of them and not to mention everything he had done to make this show feels like variety not a survival one. He's genuinely take this competition as a friendly match and Mnet really did this to them. Guys let's support them in the future. Keep fighting Golden Child and Goldenness!

I started watching RTK for The Boyz but in the end I fell in love with all of them so it's really hard watching them go. I still believe they should at least wait into further episodes to start eliminating or just not eliminate any group and make the groups gain points to rank them :((((

The one thing that really breaks my heart is how golden child always entertain us on vlive example when fans asking them about spoilers or anything regarding to rtk, they still smiling and replied to fans eventho knowing they were already eliminated. I really salute them for that.
They stayed strong just so that their fans won't be disappointed and tried to cheer them up... It's just really so sad:((((

Na Di i agree with this, i have watched golden child’s performance nonstop since it dropped just because i was so in love with the unique orchestra concept and joochan’s skills, and honestly the whole time i was thinking its impossible for them to get eliminated but fans (especially newer kpop fans) only care for the dark/aggressive concept and pay no attention or give credit to the other difficult concepts

Honest opinion there shouldn't have been elimination on this show. It should have been just showcasing talent and stages beyond the normal constraints of weekly music show and etc. Then in the end crown a winner... I feel sad when I think about the potential stages I could have seen from Golden Child. They are a talent group of people and I wanted to see more.

yeah i prefer queendom, they got various challenge like vocal and performance. .so each group and each member have good moments and interaction

I never saw this result coming, Golden Child was one of the groups with the most unique concepts on this show. All their stages were memorable and outstanding artistically
actually kind of shocked. golcha’s performance was really good to me, maybe not top 3 level, but they didnt deserve last place. theirs was intriguing and the violin performance really had me excited.. they deserved better. this isnt the end guys fighting. bomin dont cry :( ure my fav
From idol's reaction,the contestants give them high rank. So,fans votes are the reason of their lose. Oh my God, Road to Kingdom lose 11 talented contestants in 1 episode. Why did they do that ? Mnet is unpredictable. They make me sad because of pentagon's performance and now golden child's elimination.

전 솔직히 울림,WM 여돌들을 알고있어서 챙겨보기보단 들었는데

I'm still shocked about eliminations. I really dislike it and this has turned into more of a competition between groups unlike Queendom where no eliminations allowed the show to be more enjoyable. I'm still really shaken and heart broken about Golden Child mainly because I thoroughly enjoyed their performances a lot. Love you Golden Child 💖!
Edit: There were eliminations (thank you comments for telling me) but because the rules were different, it seemed ljkr there wasn't. I still wish mnet applied Queendom rules to Kingdom though
Queendom did have an elimination rule; if a group was last 2 times in a row, they would be eliminated. But no group was ever, so no elimination. This is also different than Queendom, in that it’s a pre-selection show for an underdog group to compete in Kingdom, which is the direct male equivalent of Queendom.

ALL THESE JUST PROVES THAT GOLDEN CHILD HAVE THE POWER, THEY HAVE THE TALENT! we've been robbed, yes, but this experience made GOLDEN CHILD AND THE WHOLE FANDOM, GOLDENNESS, STRONGER.

Lee Dahee's facial expression watching Joochan cry and the rest of Golden Child being quiet after the announcement is really something. It looks like she is also about to cry. Imagine those loud and energetic boys from ep 1 being like this is really heartbreaking. 😭
The fact that Daeyeol literally had to take a pause because he had no words speaks volumes. I didn't even watch RTK except for a few clips with Golden Child but this was painful to watch since one can see alone through clips that they worked a lot and really hard fpr the shpw itself while having a comeback lined up.

id understand if there were eliminations in Kingdom, but i thought Road to Kingdom was for underrated groups to shine? and having eliminations just takes away the whole point of the show

"the whole point of the show" is, from the channel's point of view, ratings.
Queendom brought viewers by having famous groups (especially Mamamoo), and so will Kingdom.
Road to Kingdom had to have a way to attract viewers because the groups aren't well known. It needed buzz. It needed something people would talk about. It needed *drama*.
I'm not sure they succeeded in getting more viewers, but I don't think the groups would have gone all out like they do, if there hadn't been eliminations.
They are too underrated. I’m sad. They deserved better.

What's the point of elimination if the goal of this show is to make underrated groups shine and get the attention of nonfans? (I know that it's the prequel of Kingdom) Mnet really sucks. But in my point of my view, GolCha had won already because they make nonfans notice them (the real goal of the show).

Can I just say how Daeyeol is such a good leader for golden child? Honestly the way he carried the group is commendable. He gives them their own space, their own choice and comforts them all the time, he keeps giving them positive side to what has happened. The way he said we have no regrets you all did so well must be so comforting to hear for the members since they looked at him immediately. It shows how the members look up to him.

it hurts me so much to watch them, becoming a Goldenness while watching RTK was the best decision ever, it hurts me seeing Daeyeol comforting them even thought it still hurts him...Bomin, Y, and Joochan crying...I know Joochan worked so incredibly hard for his solo, and he did absolutely amazing on it, I saw how disappointed Jangjun was when they got the results and he still managed to smile, I just wanted to hug all of them, they all worked so hard for this performance and it was truly amazing, I just don’t want them to feel like it was their fault and that they should’ve done something more for their performance, I’m so proud of you guys and I will miss you guys so much, they deserve BETTER! Ok since everyone is throwing their 2 cents here, I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and narrate my experience as well.
I'm not a (insert name of GNCD fandom here) or someone who stans GNCD for that matter. Honestly got introduced to this group through Road to Kingdom. I don't stan any of the groups participating for that matter, in case some of you were thinking of coming at me for being 'biased'. I knew The Boyz and Pentagon were appearing on the show and liked the format of the show as well so I thought I'll give it a go. From the pilot episode to the current one- in all honesty- Jangjun literally demanded all of my attention with his positive and carefree persona and that's what made me want to look into GNCD as a group. Talent literally overflows in this group; humor as well. I can only think about the pressure that Daeyeol might be under as he has to live upto the expectations of being a leader as well as being the younger brother of Infinite Sungyeol. With all of that being said, they put up some of the best performances I've seen till date on various platforms of Mnet (including MAMA). The went along with concepts that others wouldn't be confident enough to pull off. The ranking of all the performances till ep.5 is straight up disappointing. I do acknowledge the fact that The Boyz definitely deserved the top position up until now. But all the other ranking after the 1st tier needs to be reevaluated in my opinion. And GNCD definitely didn't deserve to be eliminated. If these results turn out to be rigged as well (just like any Mnet programme -_-) I wouldn't be surprised because their are groups on the list that very well didn't deserve their ranking (I'll leave that upto your imagination, don't wanna start a fanwar).
If Mnet reads this, just wanna let you guys know-
Can we be more original now? How long are we gonna keep up with these survival format of shows? Do you guys even have a proper team at Mnet who does their research as to what the audience wants? How long are you going to put out shows by recycling the same concepts/ formats of shows? You're definitely trying to reach out to global audience by adding subs and tagging yourself as "we are Kpop" so might as well take international fans opinion into consideration. Just so you know RTK was joyful, funny and lighthearted just because of GNCD's Jangjun and ONF's Wyatt. If Mnet us trying to create a cutthroat and killer image and vibe, then congratulations on eliminating GNCD. And I guess next up will be ONF.

Omg make this top PLEASE. Mnet is fking trash. I'm just absolutely disappointed cause I expected golcha to advance to the finals or at least the 3rd round. I was not a fan of any of the groups but likewise, I was drawn to golcha cause of their humour and the performances they put up is just different and eye-catching from the other groups that aimed for the same type of performance.
Don't worry ! I don't think ONF will be eliminated next, they have been climbing to the top so it's unlikely mnet will eliminate them next.

Yes, they gained some popularity now. Even me, Golden Child convince me to stan them and here i am. Stanning them at Burn it Era. I should supposed to stan them at damdadi era but... i failed to stan them at that time because i stan so many groups at that time.

back here after all the achievements Golden Child has made since they left this show. they have proved that no setbacks can stop them from growing and all they need is for Goldenness to walk alongside with them in this journey of growth. I hate the show for hurting them but I thank Golden Child for the three amazing performances that they have delivered. I encourage all to watch their 90 second performance practice version because their synchronization is so satisfying to watch with no bad camerawork and lightings to distract you.

I don't think any Goldeness feels ashamed. If something, we are sorry for them crying. We knew from the beginning that this show is rigged, but still, it's heartbreaking to see them cry. As some fellow Goldennes said in another video, the only way Golcha could have had a shot, was if they brought in a whole Circus and played the hula hoop changing formations. No offense to the other contestants, who I'm sure are also talented, but I don't think any of the groups has someone who plays that many instruments like Joochan, and if they do, well, no one did it live. This elimination thing is so useless. It is not surprising that Hong Joo-chan and Bo-min shed their tears, all the members have worked really hard and above all Joo-chan who have poured his soul into practicing the violin for this performance. They all gave everything for this performance.
I support all the group and will continue to watch the show for them but Golden Child was for me one of the group who deserved to go as far as possible. I mean these are just my taste I am not a pro, I am not even nobody, but each of their performances, from the start met my expectations. It is such a shame that they got eliminated...

I swear i never cried if someone get eliminated but golden child elimination is a whole another level. I swear.. they deserve more. Evry week they chose different concept with the thought of they need to perform with their own style.. and they showed us.. they showed us competition is not about performing with being fierce all the time and it doesnt have to be a dark concept all the time.. they literally showed us something different and beautiful unlike others. They deserve more hype..they dont deserve to be eliminated.. and i dont care if my word are going to trigger others but i found that it is unfair fro pentagon and the boyz to be on the show. I thought rtk supposed to be a competition between rookie and underrated grp.. im saying what i have to say. and this is my opinion.. 😞😞i even stopped watching rtk.

Both of them are quite underrated, maybe less then the others, but still underrated, The Boyz indeed have gotten their first win, but they aren't really known in the general public and never have gotten another win after that, Golcha have gotten their first win as well and the same goes for them
As for Pentagon, despite the major success from Shine and being one of the most known groups on the show, they've never once gotten first place, no music show win and they're the oldest group
I'd say all of them are still quite underrated, others more so then some, but I think all of them deserve to be there
Regardless, Golden Child didn't deserve to be eliminated, I think we all knew that, but I'll still watch it and support all the groups, RTK made me listen to Golcha and I hope they will have a successful comeback
Everyone knows MNET is a snake, but even then, most of us continue to watch the show, since we want to support our faves and make them happy and MNET knows this

This made me break down in tears because they literally worked so hard and deserved to get the recognition they deserve. Just seeing how upset they were breaks my heart. Man damn you MNet for putting this elimination system. They should’ve been able to stay no matter what. Golden Child fighting on your next comeback and just know you gained many fans from Road To Kingdom and your loving Goldeness have your backs and are proud of you. I am actually really sad. Golden Child are so incredibly well rounded and competitive I seriously cannot comprehend how they have not been doing so much better in the rankings. They showed off some incredible vocals, rap, dancing, and overall performance and showed that they were able to pull off a variety of different concepts. Thought I am upset with the results I feel that Golden Child still did amazing and really showed what they had to offer, whether it was appreciated or not. I hope they gain a lot from this.
Aside from just this I am kind of upset with the voting methods. They ways it’s set up makes it opinion based, which is fair to an extent. With opinion there is bias which makes voting not so fair, especially since these are all groups that have already debuted. :/
I also don’t get to see Joochan looking stunning in his stage outfits every week and that is something else to be upset about.

Golden child were amazing I swear, in the first round I fall in love with the elegant and unique interpretation that didnt deserve to be fifth in any way. Sincerly I was streaming oneus' warrior descendant but kept coming to golden childs stage, it was just art, and it moved my heart in so many ways. After that i looked for their performance in the second round... I was just astonished, I already commented in the original video. The way they mixed different kind of arts was amazing and even not knowing them before im really pissed off by their elimination. No one can deny that golden child were the most mood makers and supporters so I send a lot of strenght for their fandom , yall and golcha didnt deserve mnet. Any of this groups. But by myself im saying this as a to moon not because I want to make fame for my fandom as "the good ones" or just spam, is because I want to say that this group had an incredible power ( like every group ofc but idk they were just amazing). And stating that golden child didnt deserve it (what mnet has done to them, or just the ranking) is not being biased. Because thats my point even not being a fan, that performances gave me goosbumps. Because this is not Kingdom... Kingdom will air after Road to Kingdom (and there will be no elimination there). The winner of Road to Kingdom will join Kingdom that's the whole point of the show. But I do believe that the elimination rule was totally unnecessary even here... I guess they Msnake made that to spice things up 😩. As a multi fan ( Goldenness) I cried like a baby in this one. For me Golcha were in top 3 for this round... I don't get why K-fans didn't vote for them... (if I remember correctly they were in the bottom half on fans votes). 😭

This is incredibly unfair, their performance was so damn good. they did so god damn good, I’m sad that their road to kingdom doesn’t continue, but I just want to let them know that even if it’s over for them now, they’re performances were still fire and I enjoyed every single one of them. 😭❤️
