lol because the character, Huang Zhong he acted was a 70++ old man in the original ROTTK novel lul
Huang Zhong is a badass with a bow (iirc, he shot out Xiahou Dun's eye in ROTTK/DW) so they translated that to a sniper MS, aka the Dynames.

I hope this is a 20++ minute episode instead of a 10-14 minute episode like Brave Battle Warriors, which was too short and barely introduced all the characters in the kit series
But then again it’s a simple story aimed at kids to get them to buy toys so who cares.

I'm guessing this is only a preview of what's to come because there wasn't any sign of the ending theme. And I just realized that there is no mouth movement like in sangokuden. They are just solid pieces like in mobile suit sd gundam of the late 1980s.
Yeah, the actual release of the episode is a week from now on the 26th.
Hopefully they get a bit more wild with the face expressions. Fancy face expressions were what that made Sangokuden special

I kind of wish they did these designs with regular Gundams instead of SD.
Zhao Yun is OO Gundam , Lui Bei is unicorn Gundam , Ma Chao is Barbatos Gundam and Huang Zhong is Dynames. Who will god Gundam be? We still have Guan Yu and Zhang Fei of the 5 tiger generals missing from the group.
I thought Zhang Fei is God Gundam and Guan Yu is Nu Gundam.

it's look like they use the name just like Sangokuden SD Gundam Ryubi, Bachou, Choun. But i like the subtitle for those name (Liu Bei, Ma Chao, Zhao Yun)
All English localizations of 3 Kingdoms related stuff use the original Chinese names rather than the Japanese versions. Ikki Tousen is the only one I can think of that is 3 Kingdoms inspired where they use the Japanese names for both (and why I didn't get Ryubi was ment to be Liu Bei, etc for a long time)
@@necromancer1983x the original sangokuden also used the japanese names, it's just the subtitles that use the chinese. so you still see Lu Bu in the subs but hear Ryofu.
I play the original japanese versions of Dynasty Warriors and they also use the japanese names, but the dub uses the chinese ones

I'm not gonna mad about full CGI on this series because :
1. The characters are all robots, no humans (at least from now). I mean, humans are much more trickier to animate because of the complexity of human expressions (for example, face expressions). The characters on this series do have expressions, but not as tricky as humans do.
2. The CGI looks quite promising and doesn't look wanky (for me, at least).
3. Sunrise had also done some impressive CGIs previously (for example, Gundam Unicorn and The Origin).
The Origin CGI is pretty bad though. I meant the CG movement doesn't look natural like CG in Unicorn

Then you should check out the previous Sangokuden Brave Battle Warriors anime
@@zoidiect Were they better than this one? I think they're about the same, CGI wise. I've watched a couple of scenes, but can't really tell which one is better.
At least it's not as bad as SDGF.
Fun fact: SD gundam force was the first to utilize full CGI. it may be old, but the humor and action within the story is worth it!

Bandai and Sunrise already did that in Sangokuden, the literal 3 kingdom stories with sd gundam format before.
