There seems to be a scaling issue with low level Antros, especially level 1s, and it's being addressed High level Antros are working as intended AFAIK. *WILD ANTROS ARE STRONGER THAN TAMED ONES*
How come they don't enrage when I throw down a brain? It'll eat it and nothing happens. I've basically destroyed all my possible allo brain spawns and this thing just doesn't care
@@Ignited_Trap I had to do 4 to 5 dino wipes just to finally get 3 to spawn. Which is a real pain to do on single player because it takes forever for everything to spawn in
Thank you everybody for the awesome comments! Full disclosure here. We specifically wanted the Antro to not be too OP and be something, at least the creature itself, that could have been in the vanilla game. It shares the same base stats as the Thyla and has a less powerful bleed. However, this can't climb like the Thyla, hence the running without stam-drain as a trade. In that vein, we wanted a theropod you could spend a LOT of time on that had more to it than just munching, and that came with a unique ability. I think Tristan accomplished just that. Thank you for the review!

It's certainly competitive with a Thyla having a significant edge in resilience. However, IMO the stamina buff is a bit unnecessary. Lower stamina drain would probably be more than enough. For the bleed, given the size disparity it would have made a bit more sense to me if it had the same non stackable bleed or slightly better, but with longer cool down. Alas, it's still very good as it is so if it ain't broken don't fix it lol

I know you guys enjoy it because the love for it really bleeds through every aspect of this Dino. @@francisweller839 The bleed seems to be a smaller percentage per tick and more like the Dinosuchus' broken bones type. That is, it has an effect only if the target keeps moving.
And then upfromthedepth is the starred chief with paleo ark, wait until they drop the mosa and theri, even moronada made his plan for his knew hybrid flying creature that is going to be terrifying
Tristan does such a good job. I'm really excited to see his full wyvern changes, hopefully before Rag drops. I just REALLY hope he adds a way to convert the regular ones to his version and vice versa
I LOVE the taming methods where you dont just knock things out but almost prove your worth, befriend, or teach a pack creature that you're the stronger individual to follow if that makes sense? It makes for a lot more of a personalised relationship with your tames roleplay wise. Like you aren't bullying the creature into being tamed but proving that you're worth being loyal to.
Man tristan will never dissapoint, i rmember seeing this thing 2 months ago in discord server and i asked him about this guy and yes this is it alright, its incredible how something can seem so simple yet so hard and time inducing to do.
god i love this design and the medievial-dinosaur suit of armour. to me this is THE classic awesome allo-like design that ark was missing (much as i love the normal allos)

As a Geo-Scientist and hobby Paleontologist i love that all these more unknown Dinosaurs get more love and attention. The model and design looks very cool and its again a good Dinosaur without all that magic stuff (which i prefer). I think its always a bit over the top with making dino knights, but it fits the game to me. Like Space Armor for Dinos.. well, I’d prefer the knight :D Usually i will use the travel saddle. Now that i write this, I’d love to see an armor stand for the Eocharcharia and the Antrodemus Armor. Maybe with a quick switch option. Since wearing Knights armor must be very uncomfortable this would be an awesome addition! All in all a very well done mod. It doesn’t feel OP, it‘s definitely strong, but i think it fits the game!
Tristan is churning out quality creatures almost as quickly as you are churning out great videos! I do like the Idea of an exploration pack carnivore, so looking forward to using it in AB. With all the carnivores, I do hope to see a few more Herbivores/Omnivores to balance out the spawns. I also have to agree with your comment on aberrant/glowing creatures in ASA are a bit too bright and not adjusted for the engine. So many great modders really make ASA shine!

Burgesssss, author of the Immersive Taming mod, wasn't able to push more combat tame baits because of all the modeling to make the baits, make them crossbow-friendly, etc. Just throwing the trophy is an excellent workaround for that problem.

pulling up to a massive theropod and throwing the remains of a murdered ally at it to assert dominance sure does seem like something the average ark player would do, love that taming method. really feels like you need to get on the same level of badassery (and genocidal bloodlust) as this very stylish boi to earn its obedience!

Once I heard there’s an aberrant version ready to go, I decided I would fight Rockwell with these guys. I’ve been mutating loads of modded creatures and it’s been so fun lol.
With so many modded creature someone should made a new map that prioritizes only modded Dino’s, I feel they are replacing many vanilla spawns on regular maps when you have tons of modded Dino’s, however, this would be easily resolved with a new map just for them

I have this Dino installed on my ark single player game and I got killed in one hit so when I went back to get my stuff I took my bronto and kill the Antronsmus but it nearly killed my bronto definitely a Dino not to mess with.
I’m having difficulty getting it to react to the brain. I noticed that it actually looks like a brain when you drop it but it doesn’t when I do. Hell, it walks past it without so much of a sniff. Edit: a friend helped me out. I must have missed the part that said you need to craft allo brains into allosaurus brains
Good question but I play my beloved ark evolved but if I remember right allos spawn on the mountains and are on the mountains so check their because they are a type of allosaur!!!
I'm trying to tame Aberrant Antros and it seems like they're not behaving as intended- they're going to and eating the brain I throw out, but they're not going into the fight mode for taming. I'm using spawned antros and brains now, and still the same behaviour. (There's a possibility that the person who owns the server has messed something up...)
Hey, yeah me and a few friends are also experiencing the same issues, it's started as of Aberration launch it seems. We've informed Tristan, hopefully a fix will be out soon!
My only problem with Tristan and his mod is that console players can use all of the creatures abilities because to my knowledge console players can't use it's claw attack I hope that get changed but other then that I love this thing it's what the allo wants to be lol
Are these guys currently bugged? I'm stealth giving them Allo brains but they just eat the brain and keep wandering around, they don't enrage like they do in your vid? I experimentally bit one after it ate a brain to test if I just wasn't seeing the effect on them but they just took normal damage and no torp?
Oh lol! That cheeky bugger was supposed to be on Passive, well spotted I have that silly highlevel otter to give me insulation, without using excessive/cheated armor or infinitestats/godmode. It's EXTREMELY annoying to focus on demonstrating a new modded creature, only to randomly die to freezing/overheating 😂
I whant to see bodye armor on the evo Rex's know I think it be cool but thats just me I love this creacher allrady still wich I know how to do some of the other attaks and cosmetic roar on xbox but all figer it out

It's not cheap. Garuga for example has funding goals of several thousand dollars to do a creature.

It's immune to damage for 15 seconds after KO, not indefinitely
