IF YOURE NEW TO THE CHANNEL heres a bit of backstory because I didn't get to explain much in this video: I drove seven hours north to help build this off grid log cabin. The owners of the cabin are Jim and Bianca who own several lots around this lake, including the camp im staying in. Pete is their only other helper. We're deep in the bush so all the camps are off-grid, which means we're off the power grid. The nearest town is two hours away and the nearest city is seven hours away.
Wow 👌 that sure is a good friend 🧡,driving seven hours to help out 👍. A nice off grid cabin in progress, good job your not affarid of heights 😀. Thanks for sharing guys ,enjoy your weekend. Greetings from England 🏴 Simon and Beth ❤❤❤
Yeah that was a log in Pete’s hand! Glad you finnaly caught something. Although if I remember correctly you did catch a pike that was nearly the size of you a while back 😊
You are a remarkable worker. They are lucky to have you. Given that the first serious hospital is 7 hrs away or even 2 hrs to a nearby town, taking care to avoid accidents might be a good idea. No PPE for using a chainsaw or working at height - like a harness might be a good idea. A serious cut or a fall could be very bad especially out there. In the UK, the Health & Safety Executive would close the site. I know you survived, are super capable and very brave, but you are not immortal.
@16:32 Pete's splinter, and your shimmying around on that ridge reminds me of a time I was out sitting on a very high LVL doing something similar. I was of coarse wearing board shorts and managed to get a splinter about the same size as the one in Pete there. In my taint. I could not get it out myself, I could not even see it. I had to call an electrician buddy of mine to come cut it out of me that evening. Lol, great times.

That was the biggest splinter I saw. I would be anxious sitting this high and you have like no fear whatsoever.

Love watching your videos and also wish you guys would wear some work gloves
I felt the heartbreak with you when that fish came off. 💔
awesome😎
I thought you offered Pete your knife so he could just cut his finger off when he got the splinter, then saw it was in his hand. LOL.
Your a beautiful woman and love the way you look in a cap❤❤❤❤
Wear gloves and eye protection, I have an appointment for surgery to remove a splinter. Be safe. have a great day.
You’d think that lake would be loaded with walleye or pike even. Is there another lake you can try close by?
Did you get to see the northern lights in the last few weeks?
