redlining that tgp input just like teezio haha. sounds good though! Im coming in a little lower hitting the indicators for the most part and then keep the % from 20-40 at max. Been disabling the limiter tho. Will try this method and see if I get better results your way. I been liking the Shadow Hill red lights lately just tapping the right needle a hair. Switch from the green lights to red on my mixbus. And I use UAD SSLGcomp before shadow hills only tapping the needle aswell. Its a new year gotta try new stuff. As always great stuff!
I have to try that 💙. Coming fom using Ozone4 in a simiar fashion as TGP, for me TGP is a bit too much sometimes so 5% but crancked it’s a way of adding a bit of that sound. Cheers
@ProdGreener i haven’t shared that I was using Ozone 4 back then since I had to reach out to iZotope to put me on, since the installer wasn’t available anymore 😂 i used ozone 4 for a long time before TGP
I also use it differently than the way it’s intended but it’s different every time and I actually use it at 100% before I change the settings on it. I also use it more than once in a track.
Great tip sir! Thanks for sharing your journey with us!!
This is a game changer! Much appreciated for the tip!
Cheers
Sounds great! Thanks for the tip, and nice mix!

@@2probeats idk how but I think you had something to do with me getting that ozone 4 to work on my old mac haha. cheers

if you didnt had the hardware what plugins would you use to replicate the hardware you are using ?
Probably UAD SSL 4K Bus / Cytomic The Glue + Tone Projects Michelangelo
i dont own any hardware. would you be able to do a mixing template for 2025 with plugins only?
I use it in a similar way with maximum 20% but also add some highs with the God Particle Eq
Sometimes I do use slight EQing on The God Particle but it doesn’t happen that often - i prefer doing the boost on my ngTubeEq
@2probeats For sure when u have such a great analogue EQ
cool tip man definitely going to try it. so the ngcomp is the very first thing in your chain?
That is correct! I’ve experimented with eq before compression and now I like the compression before the eq on my mixbus.
❤❤❤
I like putting the Oven plugin before it
Hmm why is that? I have to try it
I will put Ruby 2 before God particle.." Beast "
Same
I would put it before the shadow hills gain boost because it’s calibrated for -18vu input for the optimal results
But I feel you
😎😎😎
