Great video, man, but i would recommend you to watch more of his live performances during the 80s cause mj is literally the full package on stage
Up
Hopefully the copyright companies that own MJs music are kind to me because i wouldn't mind SEEING AND HEARING EVERYTHING MICHAEL haha
The album sold more than 20 million copies worldwide, deposited four singles into the Billboard Top 10 and showcased (or, more specifically, unleashed) Jackson's talents as a entertainer, a vocalist, a writer and, most importantly, as a leading man.
Off the Wall signified Jackson's independence, and not just from the stifling creative control foisted on him by the folks at Motown. Over the course of 10 revelatory tracks, Jackson serves notice that he's no longer the cherub-faced boy with the notable afro, he's a full-grown man, one capable of workin' day and night, not stopping 'til he's had enough and loving so hard that it cuts like a knife. A masterful mixture of fiery disco tracks (album opener "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough," "Workin' Day and Night"), smooth, loverman tunes ("Rock With You," the McCartney cover "Girlfriend") and positively soul-devastating ballads ("She's Out of My Life," on which Jackson famously breaks down at track's end), Off the Wall is sumptuous, sexy and self-assured, a powerhouse that, through sheer skill of all involved, re-imagined R&B, disco and funk as not just so-called "black" music, but as colorblind, all-encompassing pop music, tunes that the entire world could groove to,And they did. Off The Wall has a lot of dance music because Michael went to a disco a lot where celebrities met at that time and he liked to see people having fun there, he was always too shy to socialize. This influenced the style of the album. Long Live The King Of Music Forever! Michael Joseph Jackson 🙆🏽♂️🙌🏽👑💖🔥🌟(Also you have to listen to the “Triumph” album by The Jacksons, If you want an Off The Wall Part 2... that’s exactly what it was. Right after OTW, right before Thriller. One of my favorite albums of all time!) #MichaelJacksonKeptDiscoAliveLiterally
Yes, you're correct (the triumph) album was more of a part 2 of off the wall, except it was accompanied by his brothers on that album. It's actually my favourite out of victory and destiny
😊💜🔟🎩
You should really check out his cover of ain't no sunshine when he was a kid. Just mind-blowing vocals
And song "Maria" also :)
You are right. No one takes the time to layer and stack vocals anymore. Michael was on another level when he did it.
i wanted to learn how to do music just to do that, i loved what i used to just call "the background vocals" when I was 12, MJ always had the best and wondered as well why no one nowadays was putting them to good use!
Quincy once said in an interview that they would record the same exact line 100 times over the same way just to stack them. It’s why his voice sounds literally perfect in every song. When you give the engineer 100 different takes of the same line they can manipulate every syllable to make it sounds just golden
Weeknd does it now
This is my favorite MJ song. It's so cute of you to do your own choreography during the song.
I am really getting a greater appreciation of this song viewing it through your lens. Great reaction 😃
oh god are you doing a mj saga?, if it is, i can't wait to get to the bad and invincible era.❤❤❤
So long as copyright is kind to me i don't mind doing a MJ chronological journey 😊
Yes sooooo much to look forward to
@@SephPlays we hope so lol, but I don't think it should be a problem, a lot of people react a lot to his content, looking forward to seeing more of yours. 😁
@@SephPlaysinvincible era mj was more of hip-hop music
I can dance every Friday with this song after finishing work lol 😅
What a great way to start the weekend 😃
Michaels was more powerful as a child, his range was extraordinary for age. As he got older he started playing around with vocal’s creating his signature sound.
When you get to his next album, make sure to listen to the girl is mine demo. And P.Y.T demo along with the finished song!
Believe it or not but the laugh in the beginning is actually Michael lol
Thank you love it MJ did all his background vocals you should check his beatboxing
I love the idea that u like to listen to mj from the beginning (solo career i mean ) it makes you see how much he improved and how visionary he was .
There is to much surprises to come i can tell u 😅.
Good job , continue 😊😊😊
Hope you continue this journey and at some point, react to some live performances from him. They're just legendary, his dance routines for some of these songs will blow your mind. Very excited for what's to come.
So long as copyright isn't toooo strict my plan is to listen to everything He sung in chronological order haha
@@SephPlayslove that idea 🥲
@@SephPlayslove that idea 🥲
I have this album; it's my absolute favorite by MJ. The whole thing is great.
I'm LOVING this journey so much so far , i be smiling everytime I see a New reaction 😂 you gotta check out she's out of my life next , that song is so emotional and different from the songs you've heard so far on this album 🤍🤍
Don't ruin the surprise for him. 😘
:o
Though the song was written by Rod Templeton it certainly got to Michael who shortly attended Studio 54 at this time. In interviews he's really glowing when he talks about it.
Off The Wall is a freaking masterpiece!! His best album in my opinion, the harmonies, the instrumentation, the arrangement, the vibes, amazing dance feel good songs! And I like how you appreciate the little things he does with his voice, I heard many people try to do it like him but it just sounds silly and over the top, but when Michael does it it sounds cool as hell lol it's a rhythmic thing that adds to the song and only Michael can do it!
Jump to Jackson 5 next! The entire Ed Sullivan show performance is the perfect introduction to Little Mike and his brothers. The Who’s Loving You portion will BLOW YOUR MIND 🤯🤯🤯 I promise 🔥
The one with the pink/purple looking hat 💯
This one is all about those gorgeous mult'ed chorus vocal harmonies when he sings, "So tonight, gotta leave that nine to five upon the shelf and just enjoy yourself." (1:40) And yeah, Michael's vocal scats are fantastic and uniquely his. I particularly like the ones that sound like a hiccup.
You just about boogied right out of your chair during those choruses. I love it!
So glad you are doing this song. I've always loved the maniacal laugh at the beginning.
This was 🔥 fire 1979 i was seven im 51 now this was one of his best albums sold millions i remember this like it was yesterday I mean how can i forget it was played on the radio daily that year rest in peace 🕊️ Micheal gone but never forgotten
If you want layered, unique vocals, Seph...have you heard Janet Jackson (Michael's baby Sister...known as, THE BLUEPRINT for female Pop Stars, since The 1990s), Tina Turner, Prince, Pat Benatar, The B-52s, and Siouxsie & The Banshees? They specialize in it. Enjoy. LOVE the hat, BTW...very smart.
GAAAHHH!!! I just looked into who owns the copyright to Janet Jackson and its UMG.... If you dont know they are a company that is very very well known for blocking videos and copyright striking reactors on youtube :(
The little added sounds that MJ adds, is simply his take on punctuation. The sounds and breaths etc are his commas, exclamation marks, full stops, paragraph hangers, etc
I am glad mj brough you joy as well.. he alaways put a smile on my face everytime i see his live performance.. you will know the man better when you reach Hisoty album.. thank you to bring joy to me too Seph.
Easily one of MJs best IMO. Such a brilliant track. Everything about Michael during this period was absolutely pristine. The music was/is almost unbelievably perfect in every way. It’s impossible to listen to without getting totally sucked into the groove.
That laugh at the beginning is his sister Latoya
it’s mj actually 🤣
@@mariamee.yes it’s actually MI
Oh wow didn't know that, dont know why i thought it was latoya😁
@@lailanafees5141 You might be confusing it with Heartbreak Hotel.
She screams in the beginning of that song
@@Wimpywoo16 ah yes probably 😊
I love your reactions to michaels ad libs, I know these off heart and have been a fan of Michael since 1987. I still love his music even now.
Glad seeing people having reactions like you do , appreciating the f out of this song....
U have a great ear 4 music
My favourite MJ song and that's really saying something.
Many people referred to MJ as a " voice shapeshifter" his voice is so unique. It is his super weapon that made him a brand all on his own. His real voice is actually deep and extremely masculine, though there are very few clips where you actually hear it. Earth song has a snippet of his real speaking voice. He was the master of change and evolution. All of these things combined with his sheer love for performing is what makes him undeniably the master of his trade.
Overkill on the pausing.
To be fair i did warn you that i would be pausing every few seconds before the actual videos starts 😅
I love you reaction Mj live for ever the king!
This was the Michael Jackson I enjoy. This and Thriller, when he brought the funky R&B. Once he went full on pop, and the New Jack Swing, it was still Michael, but I didn’t enjoy it quite as much.
Off the wall is being crazy
was this your first reaction? i want to see your journey
ruclips.net/p/PLn84b2i6CbmOIzokH1Eh0ydiiv-ZSX0_G
this is pretty accurate. Theres a few missing from it because of copyright removing them though :((((
Mariah Carey and Brandy do layering too. 🎉🎉🎉
yes, he was really a talented singer, dancer, and performer. he did his adlibs himself and all the songs were just amazing.
I love his voice so much. pls, react to Michael Jackson's Earth song music video on my request. I m new on your channel thank you...
welcome aboard :D
SUPER talented is MJ and i'm only just getting started with him!
Very cool reaction!
Me too, I can enjoy Mozart's paintings.
Maybe you should take a listen to Da Vinci's music too.
I love that you appreciate all the different little adlibs and sounds he makes with his mouth at the end of pretty much every word!! It definitely adds to the song and makes him unique. I heard some music critic talk about Michael and he says what is important is not necessarily the vocal but the style, something to that effect, that's what sets him apart from the others. Michael definitely had the voice and the style, he delivered it all 😂!
Witch from the wiz movie
Ad-libs out of this world
Gotta listen to One Day in Your Life.
MJJ Vault has an amazing collection of Michaels songs acapella so you can really hear the harmonies and layers.

Damn uou talk too much ✌️
theres thousands of other reactors out there that just sit there and dont say a word or show any emotion, Maybe you will be better off with one of them?
We think so alike about music.
Great reaction !!
Seeing as youve heard working day and night, please watch his live performance at Buchrest 1992 HD
Pure Genius!!!
