For anyone saying Ivan should censor himself, no he shouldnt, its a rock show. My daughter is not old enough for the shows yet ( shes 2 months old) but if turns 5/6 and likes Five Finger you can be damn sure I will take her to a show. But heres the thing she will know the words Ivan says are adult words and not to repeat them. Taking a child to see a band they enjoy does NOT make them bad parents. I have kept smaller stature people safe at many many shows and you can bet it will be the same with my kid. IF she wants to go she will, end of story. Good parenting is teaching your kids right from wrong not hiding them from the world
Considering that many if not all of these kids have heard worse in their households, listening to this is probably the greatest feeling they'll ever have at a concert. Wish my parents would've taken me to an Ozzy, Metallica or Megadeth concert when I was growing up. . .would've made my childhood a lot less boring!
My kids are 11,12 and 16 and have been to bfmv, breaking Benjamin, stone sour, sevendust, tremonti, etc. The crowds and bands love kids and I have never felt my kids were in danger and people go out of their way to protect kids. My kids get straight As, dont curse, and also like pop music. But they love rock and metal and the feeling of a concert is something special. Scariest show? A Disney show... more pushing, arguing and bitching people than any other concert I've been to!
let them listen to who they want don't try to blame the parents or the kids or even the band there doing there job being musicians your going see swearing every were you go even in public you cant shield your kids from every thing cus then there never going see how the real world works. are you going follow your kids avery were they go even when there adults and say no you cant see that or do that ???? rock on 5fdp keep doing what you do
bill bob I am having a little girl this year and you can be damn sure if these guys are touring when she hits 5/6 they will be her first big rock show. Ear protection of course but she will be there and will end up on that stage for an unforgettable first concert for her. My husband and I are both HUGE and music and the rock community is the best around I will be happy to raise her among the other metal heads of the world =)

Those kids have questionable parents if they allow them to attend a heavy metal concert with 6 screaming, cursing bands onstage performing in front of a drunk, stoned, moshing and crowd surfing audience. Don't blame the band, blame the parents, because this kind of shit WILL HAPPEN at heavy metal concerts.

Heavy metal bands are the most down to earth, nicest people you will ever meet. They truely care about their fans and their concerts are the best.
