I have been so inspired by you and your channel... I went out and bought power tools and am working on projects for decorating our new home that should be done in a few months! I am curious though about some of the power tools you have bought and use on a regular basis along with the stains and paints you have really liked along the way. Do you always have a video talking about all that? Maybe I missed it (I feel like I have binged so many of your videos already). Anyways, just having a video for reference to let us know what power tools you think are necessary to get projects started and completed and maybe what we should think about adding to our collection as we get more proficient. I'd love to see you make some floating shelves or that long ledge-type Ikea sells for a wall to hold art or photos and maybe one of those pretty vanities with the glass on top where you can see your makeup underneath. I need tips=) My sister is good with saws etc I need to be. =) I love all of your videos and your style. Looking forward to what you come up with next=)

Great job on the barn door. I’m always telling my husband about your videos. How wonderful they are that you never take short cuts. The other day I asked my husband if he would put a hanger on a frame so I could hang it up, he was busy with other things so I decided to get it done and I did. I told him I did it…he told me Natalee”The lady from Designed to the Nines” would have gotten it done , stained and everything else. I looked at him and said , yes she’s good. I just needed to share that with you. Really enjoy all your projects.
Lady it turned out fantastic. Made me want to get up and work on some projects I have half finished. I am currently going through physical therapy because about 9 months ago I jacked my right (dominant) arm/shoulder. I am getting ready to turn 60 and figured it would feel better when it got done hurting, lol. They have told me I might have to have surgery on my rotator cuff and my bisep muscle that attaches to the rotator. Keep those fantastic diys coming! I am living precariously through watching them. Oh and your prayers would be greatly appreciated

I don't need these for much DIY, but I do need them for ongoing decor items that I am (sort of) manufacturing in South Africa, where I live. The door turned out perfect! I love when you show mistakes because it shows us who may be less experience (🤚) ideas on how to fix it. I just love your channel and you really do encourage me to get powerful. :) My husband was super excited when I told him I wanted to look into getting some power tools 😆
You always show us lovely, do-able projects and when they are done they haven’t a hint of that project-y, oh-well-I-did-the-best-I-could sort of vibe. Instead, each new piece settles into its surroundings and elicits that sweet, soft, gentle sigh of comfort. Peaceful. At home.

That door is stunning! I loved watching you go through ALL the steps including your mistakes. You’re so humble. But when you show everything it makes us feel like ‘Ok, maybe we can do this do. Maybe I can pick up that power tool and get to DIYing. If I made a mistake. I’ll just fix it like Natalee did!’
I built my own barn doors which also required a mounting board for the hardware rail. I chose to paint the board the wall color. Once the rail and door was installed, you never even notice the mounting board. It blends in with the wall and the barn door and cool hardware is all you notice. Great job! Can’t wait to see the entire room.
Phenomenal job! I so love watching you. You remind me of just how awesome I used to be when I used to work with power tools to create furnishings around my own home. Thank you so much.I own a 66 year old fixer upper tract home. It happens to have solid oak floors however and a raised foundation. My tiny bathroom has two doors for only 25 sq.feet of bathroom space. Its a 3/4 bath and attached to the master bedroom and laundry room. I've wanted a solution I could do and afford. Also I didn't care for the solid barn door look. I'm more cottage look and shabby chic. This is so much brighter and lighter and also will solve my mirror problem.
