BLUE CLAPPER was such a momentous song. It was the start of hololive IDOL PROJECT, well technically it's not, but it was the start of the 8-week rush until Bloom, which was to be a concert of all original songs. Even there were an idol group, Hololive had little practice as a music group (there was a reason INNK Music existed back then) and so the fact that song like BLUE CLAPPER came along, not only promoting the newest gen at the time, but the high quality and the infectious melody gave credence to the project as a whole, and probably kickstarted the slew of songs Hololive would produce today. Perhaps something like Suisei's album and Calli's major sign up may not have existed without the ground laid by BLUE CLAPPER.
Cannot agree more. BLUE CLAPPER and other songs released in Bloom is basically Cover's answer to the mess of Holopocalyspe mass privating, after Bloom the productivity of music producing is just increased almost (?) exponentially. Amazing.
They seriously put out an astounding amount of music these days. I started listening pretty exclusively to Holo music so I could support them with my views at the start of 2021, and going through the playlist of all their covers and originals really does show how exponential it's been since gen 5.
Hearing Blue Clapper for the first time was a little painful, because it was a testament to how strong NePoLaBo could be as a group, and I can't help but think what would've come out of it had Aloe been around to be part of it.

I am still convinced that "Blue Clapper" was written before Mano Aloe's sudden departure: the "5-4-3-2-1" countdown is a clue.
I always took it as NePoLaBo's way of acknowledging her.

I mean it'd also be weird to start a countdown at 4. It's almost always 3, 5 or 10

@@LunarEdge7 I have to agree. After seeing this comment I compared that “yo” to Nene and Aloe (and Δ) clips, because I figured it had to be one of the two. I could certainly make the case for it being Nene, but I much prefer your interpretation.

Dang son.... its been like what a year and a half since this came out??? I remember when it dropped, it is still is an absolute banger till this day.
