- gossipwirenews... gossipwirenews... With Kangaroo (Carol Burnett) threatening to boil the speck Horton (Jim Carrey) pleads with Mayor (Steve Carell) to have all the citizens of Whoville to make as much noise as possible to prove their existence.
Horton the elephant struggles to protect the unseen infinitesimal creatures of Who-Ville who live on a speck of dust but he meets with the derision of other animals who think he's gone mad and threaten to destroy the speck of dust; However Horton persuades the tiny creatures to save themselves by making as much noise as possible so that they can be heard and thereby prove their existence to the other animals.

John, I was looking thru videos on youtube of Kings Island to see if there was anything from around the time I worked there.. 1985 & 1986. Not only did you capture the memories of what the park was like back then, you actually have ME working!! At 13:47, I am the tall, lengthy ride attendant for the bumper cars that walks past the camera. My friend Juan is on the controls and making the announcement. I cannot even begin to describe how cool this is to me that you captured this really fantastic memory of my youth! Thank you so much! Tim
ThePoketea I just read up on this-i was curious too! it started as the Enchanted Voyage when the park opened in 1972. In 1983 it was changed to Smurfs enchanted Voyage when Kings Island acquired the rights to the Smurf characters. Sometime in the early 90s the water was removed and it became the Phantom Voyage. It is currently Boo Blasters on Boo Hill (a sort of laser shooting ride adventure). The history of the rides at Kings Island is really interesting. Just looking at maps of the park throughout the years, you can see a lot of original rides and buildings still exist but have just been updated occasionally.
Talk about luck...I had this silly idea to look up K.I. videos in hope that *somewhere* I would see myself and boyfriend at the time. I know its literal needle in haystack with how many ppl visit but your experience gives me hope. You see, 1 year from when we went, I got pregnant and sadly my daughters father passed away and never got to see his daughter...If only I was lucky enough to actually spot us in the crowds that summer then I could show her more than just pictures of her dad...🤞🤞Wish me luck and thank you for thesehe videos, I know its a long shot but hey, gotta at leaat look ya lnow.
I am still watching in hopes that me, my mom and dad were there at the time this was recorded. We went there a lot in the 80's. I would have been 6 years old at this time.
