Hi Melissa, as a matter of fact, the very first time, I saw your handsome, baby boy, Sal, I thought he looks so much, like a real live, newborn, Italian baby and I really love him. I only buy high end babies, because for me, it's all about the realism. If I was to take a baby on holiday, it would be a sleeping one, as they do look more realistic and I would head for the mountains, that's because I live, only 1 street away, from a truly, gorgeous, sparkling, clean, beach and I feel truly blessed. I also believe, that everyone has the right, to spend their hard, earned, money, on what ever they choose. Thanks for sharing, my lovely friend. xxxxx
Oh thank you so much for liking my baby Sal. I agree with you on the sleeping babies. When you take them out, they do look more real. I feel like there are two sides to doll collecting for me. There is the side where the realism is what attracts me to the reborn dolls. Then there is the side where the doll just looks cute and that’s more of the dolls that look like play dolls. So just depends on what angle of the hobby I am going for at that time. I may see a baby that looks super real, and that grabs me. Or I may see a baby that just looks super cute and inviting and just like a baby doll. Oh my gosh, I wish I lived by the beach. I used to live close to the beach when I lived on Long Island, New York. But now I’m four hours away from the beach. Plus the beaches near me are cruddy. Thank you so much for your comment. One of the issues with this hobby is that it takes time and experiences to learn what you like. My first reborn was a boo boo baby so I could swallow the price tag, thinking I couldn’t believe I was giving so much for a doll. And then I bought one that was a little more expensive, and thought “That’s the most I will ever spend on a DOLL.” And then I spent double that on a different doll and think, “No more than this!”😂 But with each doll that is better quality and higher end, you really start to learn what you want and expect in a reborn. And I’m learning that I’d rather save and spend the money to have a few higher ends than a lot of lower end dolls. Because to be completely honest, the higher end dolls make me like my “cheaper” babies less and less.🤪 I’ve really been wanting to go to the beach. I keep daydreaming about just sitting on the beach with a good book, dozing and reading while I listen to the waves crash. If it was an all expense paid vacation I’d choose some place a little more exotic than Florida though.😆 I would probably bring Oakley, which is my Pickle sculpt because that baby takes the best pictures; and I would for sure want to get some pictures with the tropical background.
Girl, you are absolutely right when it comes to getting better babies little by little. The more high-end our dolls are, the less we like the lower budget babies. I get that. I feel like we can’t get enough because we always want the next best thing and advance in the hobby because we know, the more we spend, the better and better the Dolls get. That is wonderful! I think she’ll really really like that. I was looking at their silicone babies also. Their babies are cute actually. I am noticing that they’re toddlers seem to be on the smaller end. I have a few toddlers that I actually hearted/liked/favorited on their website. But they are newborn size and they’re not full-size toddlers… In comparison to NPK and other companies like that. But I think they would be really cute regardless. And the price point is pretty good.

You are so funny. Lol I think of my babies as little angels as well. It’s my little toddler Missy that is Miss spunky attitude. I get scared of TSA. When I do go to Washington, I would like to take one of my dolls. But I’m scared of the process and how that would be traveling. When you go somewhere tropical, you have to have the beach or a pool or some bloody of water that will keep you cool. I love tropical places I thought this would be a fun video to do. Lol that's a hard one because there's Colorado (the most beautiful place I've ever been but only been in the summer) so then there is the snow and ice like u said and being from Texas I don't have a lot of snow/ice experience. Florida's inner coast has areas that are super clear water looks like the Caribbean but the thought of hurricanes scare me, lol!! I would definitely have to take Lexi my "Levi" replica because she has gone on every trip with me. I was surprised when u said u would take John because I expected u to say Adelaide but I think also the fact that he came to u through Sandra is sorta a way for u to take her with u too! Had fun fantasizing I just overthink everything, lol!
