Thank you! I have some Callaways I am going to be testing as soon as they update the FSX2020 software for the Quad Max, currently it only works for Play and I can't do any comparisons on there. My trial ended for the GC3. I have never played Srixon or Bridgestone Balls, do you have any suggestions?
nice video great break down. A test i have been very curious about would be the ProV1 vs TP5 vs TourBXS vs any sleeper ball. Right now i play Prov 1 but people say the new TP5 and new Bridgestone XS are better than ProV1.
I have the tour BX vs TP5x vs x star diamond vs chrome tour x coming soon, just need to complete the driver portion. I was a left dash player last year and switched to standard pro v1. When I couldn’t find the left dash but the TP5x is really starting to grab my attention
That ball really surprised me, I have some from last year when I was looking at them, I think I will do an video to compare the old ball to the new one.
Pro V1 is an all-around beast and considering Titleist puts a truckload of money into quality control and manufacturing consistency, it's an easy pick. I just wish Titleist would do more colors like gloss orange and maybe mint green. It speeds up the round a good bit when everyone is playing a clearly different ball.
Great test. We have similar ball speed/head speed with driver. Like you, I tend to spin the ball too much...so I got excited when you mentioned this. I play the left dash and really like the feel - but I may have to try the Prov1 again based on the results. Was this the current version?
Thank you so much! I played the left dash because of the high compression but when I couldn’t find them I switched to the pro v1’s and really liked them, it was interesting to see those numbers. That is the current version of the pro v.
Absolutely shocked at the driver distance between tp5 and Prov 1. I mean, if I was testing drivers and one was 10 yards longer it would be a real consideration for starter spot in the bag. One less club into greens can be huge. A big factor with Titleist is how tight the specs are on the balls. Maybe consider doing a quality check on the same lineup with either the epsom salt check or roll 20 foot putts on a stimp meter to see if any randomly roll off line.
The big thing that kept me off the tp5 was the low spin around the greens, but I played with one yesterday and really liked it. I am going to be getting out on the course soon and doing some testing on the grass to see how it compares to the mat.
Great video. I am in the process of evaluating low spin balls (off the driver, med spin on wedges/irons) as well. For the driver, when you get the GC Quad Max you may want to consider normalizing the data based on strike location. The difference in spin between 10mm low and 10mm high can be up to 1,000 rpms. Thanks.
Thank you so much! I probably will do another test for driver only with these balls on the Max but currently it doesn’t support FSX2020 only FSX Play and you can’t do any comparisons on Play yet. I spoke with tech support at Foresight and they are telling me it will hopefully be updated in about 3 weeks.
Would love to see the 2024 TP5X vs the Callaway Chrome Tour X. Some tests are showing better spin for wedges but longer and more ball speed for driver than Pro V1X and TP5X.
That’s interesting, I’ll see if I can grab a sleeve this week and runs some tests. It’s a crazy week with Easter this weekend but I’ll do my best to get it up soon.
@@BabinGolf I liked the feel a little bit better. Subjective but it fit what I like to feel. Hard to judge but hit about 10 with each ball into a head wind and right to left wind. I felt the chrome tour held up better. Spins rate were about the same and I was getting lower ball flight on short irons with the chrome tour and higher ball flights with the longer irons. Prov 1 was longer on average by a yard with the driver. Just my testing I know everyone is different. For reference driver average carry is around 305 and 7 iron (34degree T100) is around 195.
I will have to throw those in the for testing as well. I used to love Callaway balls back in the day, specifically the warbirds the original from like 2005ish but never really played them recently, It will be good to see if we can get them back in the rotation.
Great video. Clear and concise. I am in the process of switching from left dash to ProV1 based on new data for 2024.
Thank you! Check out the TP5x and the Srixon, I did exactly what you did and I’m really loving the Srixon diamond right now
Need to see some srixon/callaway/bridgestone. Great video!

Bridgestone Tour BX
Absolutely perfect test 💯
Thank you so much!
Awesome video thank you.
Thank you!
Great comparison! Thanks for the info dude
Thank you!

you confirmed why I love the TP5x

When is the next vid coming out? I can only rewatch this one so many times
It’s almost done lol, it’s been crazy hot out lately, all that’s left is the driver, wedge and irons are done

I agree, the Pro V1 is a great all around ball.

If you look at standard deviation the TP5 seems to be the best one for consistency.
I was definitely surprised by the results of the TP5
dude you got some power. jeez
Thank you!
Look at that swing. Holy cow
Thank you!
Is this the 2024 or 2021 TP5x?
2024
srixon needs some love
We had another request for Srixon balls as well, do you have any suggestions? I have never played there ball.
The srixon z star diamond balls are fantastic. They tend to perform in the distance category quite well.
Thank you! I’ll pick some up and add them to the next test.

I would put the chrome tour up against the prov1. I compared both and picked the chrome tour over the prov1
What did you like better about the chrome tour?
