Pixar/Disney did an EXCELLENT job on this movie. The emotions were so beautiful and pure, and lord only knows how much I love Luca and Alberto's relationship. I had begun to lose faith in Pixar movies, tbh; but this movie has fully reinstated my love for these films. That ending annihilated me, however.

Its more then just a animated movie, it shows the bond between to friends and how its not always perfect- The road you take is the road that you will share with one person to the next as I say and this movie represents that. The end got me- Honestly almost every part of this movie got me, and im sure that im not the only one who teared up at least once while watching this. (One of my favorite Pixar movies or just in general one of my favorite movies.)
Well, I've always said that Animated movies are terribly underrated and misunderstood (they're for everyone, not just for a single category)! Its more then just a animated movie, it shows the bond between to friends and how its not always perfect- The road you take is the road that you will share with one person to the next as I say and this movie represents that. The end got me- Honestly almost every part of this movie got me, and im sure that im not the only one who teared up at least once while watching this. (One of my favorite Pixar movies or just in general one of my favorite movies.)
Well, I've always said that Animated movies are terribly underrated and misunderstood (they're for everyone, not just for a single category)! And among other things to me, in general, Animated movies excite me incredibly more than Live Action movies (and this is said by an empathic person who sees beauty in everything and there isn't even a single movie that doesn't like at all, despite having really seen a huge amount, and I said all) 😅👌🏻 And yes, I agree on everything: For what the movie is (and it's also much more, to me), for the fact that it's moving (although I admit that there's no single movie that doesn't make me cry for nothing, I'm incredibly emotional), and for the fact that it's one of your favourite Pixar movies and movies in general ever (ditto for me, it's my 3rd favourite Pixar movie (although I could practically put it on a par with 4 others), and one of my favourite movies of all time (on par with some others)) 🥺😍💙👍🏻

We're saying Luca feels like a first love story, and those types of stories are extremely innocent. Maybe they're just friends, maybe it's a crush? Who knows, it's up to interpretation. A lot of Ghibli movies come to mind like Spirited Away, and maybe even Ponyo, that share a same feeling. This feels like a first crush story: over the summer, having a friend that makes you feel happy and FREE when you're with them, but you're 13 so you don't understand what your feelings mean. And then add the undertones of being scared of being outed as a sea-monster (or, as we see it, GAY).
If you don't see it that way, that's cool, I get that. But you do not get to tell queer people how to relate to a movie, when we're doing nothing wrong, and this video is literally so innocent. Gay children exist. We were once gay children. Nothing wrong with that.
Now, Let's talk about the DOUBLE STANDARD of you saying it's not okay because they're children. Isn't Spirited away so cute and the couple is so wholesome?? Yea, she's LITERALLY ten. What about literally every other show on Disney or Nickelodeon? Main characters always have a love interest, even if they're 12, 13, 14 etc. I've seen shows with 12 year old boys chasing girls and even kissing them on screen. Do you also complain about that?
