It's so silly, but this trailer makes me so emotional even today. The summer Pokemon Go came out was the best summer of my life. Not necessarily because of the game, but because of how many people I reconnected with over it. People I hadn't talked to since elementary school who I would randomly run into while out playing. I'd see them at random social events, but seeing them as an adult and so excited about the things that we use to bond over long ago was just such a bizarre experience. Like everyone went back to being 10 again, with their gameboy and their link cable on the playground. I would get out of work on 2nd shift at around 10pm during the week and with a group of work buddies head downtown near the water front every night and there would be hundreds of people down there all through the night just talking, catching pokemon, and having a good time. Random older people would stop us and ask us about the game because they wanted to get involved, or older ladies would let us know they feel safer going out on their nightly run with all these people around. They no longer felt it was risky to be out after dark. It might have been a bit broken, but it was definitely something special that brought people together and I hope to experience something else like it some day.

Same. Especially the scene in Times Square. I still watch the video of a mob of people sprinting into Central Park to catch Vaporeon back in 2016 from time to time. I usually visit NYC at least once a year and because of Covid I didn't last year and probably won't again this year. Hopefully in 2022 i'll be back sight seeing, going to concerts and playing PoGo.

I legitimately cry every time I watch this. There’s just something so awesome about people coming together like that and being excited and united that gets my blood rushing. Like, in my nostalgic childhood mind, this shit looks like utopia if it were real, and I can’t help but get emotional over that idea.

I dont play Pokemon GO anymore.. but the time i had when it was released..wow i will never forget this time in my life talked to strangers.. hopped together in their car to drive to another spot where a rare pokemon is, fight together, were in whatsapp groups for raids.. making new friendships..had an amazing time outdoor. I was never so much outside in life and walked so much when i played this game.. i lost 10kgs lol.. watching this trailer again make my cry because of the good time i had and how we all grew up with PO KE MON!
PS: One of the funniest moments i had, we were camping with over 200 people at a famous Pokemon Raid and Farm place in Berlin Germany and the german police went by with their police car and played over loud speakers the "Pokemon Song" hahahaa we were all clapping and laughing together and even the police sometimes get out of their car and played with us a Raid in full uniforms ^^

+Fiery Nugger Mewtwo is in the game, you can get him by raiding on a "sponsored" gym. Then couple days later, you will get a random Ex Pass Invite which will tell you specific time and date for the MewTwo Raid.
Raiding was as well. Just because it advertises it doesn't mean itll be in the game right away. The game would lose popularity very quickly
I miss these good times. Everyone was nice and we were enjoying the summer catching Pokemon. Now barely anybody wants to go outside and have fun.. 😔

After two years I'm still super bitter about Pokémon Go. One of the greatest concepts for a game and it fails outright in implementation.
@@Defeat_Deceit The technology just isn't there yet. All things considered, Niantic has implemented everything they promised and no other "GO" game has came close to PG.
@@Tordah123 What they delivered was unacceptable. I think the technology is absolutely there to make a good "GO" game. If not then the developers need to DEVELOP to make it possible. I stopped playing after two months, because it was boring. This was a perfect opportunity to have a social game were you could meet strangers on the street to duel, trade or become friends. With the horrible combat system only against NPC in gyms and the lack of any in game social interaction, made Pokemon Go worthless to play. Again, I say I'm bitter, I hope Niantic gets shut down and someone else needs to try too make this game, but with the proper Pokemon elements.

That last part of the trailer made me shed a tear. Even though this game was a world wide hit for a short time. I made so many memories with it. I used to out to the local park where lure models were always present and once in a while a rare pokemon would spawn. You would hear exitment over the entire park. I made many friends dyuring that time which many I still have contact with. Such a good time. In my opinion the closest we got to global world peace haha.

They may start with gen 1 and then add the new Pokemon later. That's the best way for people who haven't watched the show or played the game since gen 2 or 3 to get involved as well, without them being overwhelmed by 600 other Pokemon they're not familiar with.
I mean Pokemon has been a thing for 18 years now so all of the original fans are grown up. So it'd best to start with gen 1 and work their way up as the app gets updated. I hope that it isn't just for newer devices like the iPhone 6 and I hope it isn't just for phones and that people can play from different devices.

I remember when I was younger I was so excited for this game. I was only 7-8 years old when I played it for the first time and I fell in love with this game. I made friends, walked, discovered many new places, have been to Germany for go fest 2019, and had so much fun. I’m still playing this game to this day. Level 41, 800 shinies, tens of thousands of Pokémon caught and a go battle league player.
I’m now 13, and I went from being in the third elementary year to being in the third middle school one. I wanna thank this game for all its done for me, and wish another boom in popularity to happen soon. Thank you PGo!

Hate to kill every ones buzz but Google Glass is a non intrusive system, basically it's made to be at the slight corner of your eye so when you focus on it it tells you enough to navigate and other things.

It's still bloody entertaining and its matched my expectations. Nothing wrong with using your imagination as well.
Hope it will come to Microsoft HoloLens. Will be be better than the commercial then. Imagine a Pokémon sitting next to you on the couch and purring away.

the in-game environment would probably be like the one in the X and Y. cartoonish thingy. like at the end of the trailer where they show a charizard on an android device and a pikachu being caught on an iphone.

I remember when there would always be like 10 people on each block paying this. I remember the morning that this game released, my mom told me about it and I was so thrilled! I went from catching a cp 10 charmander to catching a cp 2200 dragonite. The end of this trailer makes me tear up knowing that there are barely and people in raids anymore. Me and my sister would always brag that we had better Pokémon and better eevolutions. This game will always have a special place in the gaming community.
Really it feels so strange how quickly time flies ,5 years passed and i still remember the first month of release of this amazing game, people were climbing trees, going to different places, sit near lakes or pond and everything else to catch pokemons! I got to know about it first when one day suddenly I saw many people roaming together looking through their phone screen. Damn I miss those old days coming back from school and going to parks to hunt for pokemons haha I even made so many new friends because of pokemon go whom otherwise I might have never met only... it was truly so amazing people were being cheerful and was engaged in something fun and enjoyable together we also got an excuse to open up to different people around .
But now due to lockdown we are just stucked but I hope we will again be able to enjoy together someday:)

Man I remember when this game was released it was like a worldwide phenomenon, I remember going to like the park with a few friends and seeing people just walking around with there phones. Its was crazy
