Supported blues for nearly 50 years. The Barry Fry era was fun, the early premier league seasons were great, but, daft as it sounds, I've never seen the atmosphere and optimism in and around the stadium as brilliant as it is now. Everything about the club now smacks of positivity. The scenes when that goal went in on Saturday were reminiscent of the Carter penalty, Horsefield smashing in the 3rd v Villa and even Obafemi's winner v Arsenal. Tom Wagner deserves the freedom of the city already. Will never be able to thank him enough for giving us our club back. Can only imagine the scenes when we're back in the big league, competing with and beating the likes of Man City & Arsenal. We now have real reason to dream.
@@shazluke I’ve said a thousand times before, my favourite time as a Bluenose was the Barry Fry era! Real excitement about the place, stadium rebuild, players in and out, fans coming back in droves, and the DOUBLE!!😂 This feels the same but on steroids!!! I just hope the fans stick with it. We’re not going to win every game and there will be some blips along the way. But this feels GUUUUUD!! KRO everyone 💙🥰
Hi Alex / Brian. Thanks for the pod. I have 2 Questions for you: Firstly - Alex how the heck did you manage to get time off over transfer deadline day??? Are you Houdini or have jedi mind tricks? Secondly - and not wanting to be a party popper or anything - but we've obviously spent huge amounts on transfers... but also convincing all these players to come down to / stay in L1 must have involved very significant financial incentives to them personally - I can't imagine the celtic /rangers players were cheap or Jay... the wage bill must be eye watering! How are the club able to spend £30mil on transfers AND huge wages AND the stadium refurbs AND all the other things its doing? Yes ticket sales are up but 20,000 x £400 is only £7mil. Yes shirt sales are up but that doesnt go far in the context of the amount Blues are spending. Yes we have some sponsorship BUT...our spending is MASSIVE! I think a lot of fans are excited but at the same time are also very worried about whether we are creating, heavens forbid, a future FFP situation for ourselves. How does blues position stand? Appreciate the rules are different in L1 but What happens if /when we're promoted? Will the club be in distress / pressure? As you well know, us Blues fans have had it tough for a long time, this feels too good to be true and I've always been stood by the mantra that if its too good to be true it probably is. Can you do some investigative journalism to look into it? Please prove us wrong!
Awesome guys thanks 🙏. I agree Bielik was fundamental getting him over the line. Plus I feel professional footballers have seen how good Chris will become and this too has encouraged some outstanding signings. Feel you need to stress Craig Gardeners outstanding roll in these players coming in too. KRO 🎉from Brazil 🇧🇷! Never been so happy/excited for the clubs future in 50 year’s supporting our beloved club! 😊
My first game I saw at St Andrews was in 1946, I was 14 years old. Im now 92. Never have I been prouder to be a Bluenose. In my opinion our club have never been this strong in terms of ownership, manager, fan base and perhaps players. Not to mention our new look stadium We owe Wayne Rooney a huge vote of thanks. Had he won a couple of games when he first arrived we could well be stuck with him. I now live in New Zealand and have done since 1959. I rely on Utube to keep me informed. My dream is to come home for a holiday and watch a game from the Tilton. KRO
Obviously Stansfield and May are hard to look past for best transfer of the summer but for me, it's probably Leonard. I can't believe we got him for 500k. He looks like a proper player! Really like Klarer as well.
Davies likes to make changes and uses them all as much as possible.. i hope he considers Allsop now for starting and see what he can do for a next few games
What a time to renew a season ticket or get one for the first time! We know we shouldn’t be where we are but the club needed to get the winning mentality back! Of course there will be blips and some strange games along the way but the excitement and passion felt now; how much more will it be when we have the pairing of Jay with Alfie up front? Huge respect to the owners for putting their money again towards making this club the talk of the country! Yes, it’s that big! Great times ahead indeed!! KROTTEOTR 🏴✝️🇬🇧🙏🏼💪🏼
Is there any way we could play Dykes up front with Jay May either side ? Maybe in a 3-4-3 formation ? Or put them together as and when we are up against it, losing with last 30 mins to play ?
Definitely agree with Colin Belik the most important signing with out him players may of left with him stating me your captain believe in the project .Come and play with me or stay with me I am an international player .
If there is a red flag in the team i would say the goalkeepers are maybe the only players i worry about neither seem to command the box either high balls or shot stopping.

brilliant with the three of you.... more of it please guys
What is exciting is that the three of you came up with so many names that could be our best signing.

Been waiting for this 😂
The last Blues player I remember being completely confident about scoring when 1-on-1 was Kevin Phillips.
Davies likes to make changes and uses them all as much as possible.. i hope he considers Allsop now for starting and see what he can do for a next few games

Great podcast thanks
Good to see tatts ! Is he not at the club anymore?
Good to listen KRO
When we have the midfield set up and wingers in tandem just wait till MayJay upfront start firing KRO there will be some 4 and 5-0 games. KRO
I think one of the best signings that that never seems to get a mention, is Cochrane, that kid is going to be a hell of a player
I think Chris Davis is the new modern Brian Clough top man
There aren't many fanbases that react to their team conceding in the way we did on Saturday. The feelgood factor is well and truly back
I thought our keeper on Sat was very comfortable and if that's his one feck up all season, I'll take that 👍 Kro

So much to talk about, didn’t even mention the signing of Ben Davies.
Need some time to gel. But in 6 months time I can see us distorying this league
Wigan was rubbish all they did was fowl and and go down all game. They got lurky with a goal bad mistake by PF.
If there is a red flag in the team i would say the goalkeepers are maybe the only players i worry about neither seem to command the box either high balls or shot stopping.
Where have you been???😂
Leonard has been so much better than Paik this season - why do you blindly glaze Paik so much
❤ UP THE ROYAL BLUES YOU NO ITS TRUE YES WIN YES WIN 😜 👕 👌 😊 💶 £15M FOR THE MAN. STANSFIELD 2-1 YES WIN BLUES WIN 😜 👕😃 😊..
