You guys do a great job BUT the reason you go through more air at depth is NOT because the air is denser. The air in your cylinder is NOT affected by the pressure BUT your lungs are. It takes more air at any depth to fill your lungs because they are affected by pressure NOT the air in your tank :)
You are absolutely correct, the air you are breathing (the air in your lungs) is denser at depth, meaning every breath you take is removing more air molecules from the tank.
You can also use pv1=pv2 to directly find out the volume at the second depth without going up to the surface.. thanks for the video 🙂
