Kinda funny, now I thought I had heard most Krushing R & R songs to date, 58 yrs on, & only recently got on the Todd wagon, so I missed a good 40 yrs of Todd. Oh well. BUT every Todd everything is AWESOME, He is ....the Best and this song is incredible, my new Utube saves are pretty much ...Todd, what a gifted man on this planet, Good God y'all. whats next !!!

I agree. Very overlooked musician. We are lucky to have him!

Wow. He stuck to the original solo for the most part, adding some pizazz here and there, and the song comes across as visceral as it did on the 1972 album, and his early TV performances when he was playing Clapton's Fool SG. Very cool to see this. Thanks for posting it.

I Saw The Light became a hit in 1974. Would love to see Todd do this album live in concert one day.

I did see this Tour in NY ..Terrif !! .. Thanks for posting this Up.. It was a Great All Star Lineup that Tour.. And Todd Rundgren is just the Greatest !! Still so many People in the World know him only as the Crooner Singer of "Hello It's Me" and "I Saw The Light". He's such a Great Guitarist and Love His Style and the Special Cry in His Guitar !! And He's so Much more Talented than even that .. He is a Multi-Talented Renaissance Man !! Rock Love, Cherry XO XO

An unbelievable show with many of my favorites on one stage.
If memory serves me correctly I got to see Todd back up Joe Walsh on Rocky Mountain Way.

WOW.....thanks a million for posting this vid. I missed this tour.......uggh, and haven't found too much footage thus far. But this is a terrific performance, w/inspired guitar by Todd; the band is tight, and it's great to see Todd and Timothy B. schmitt, 2 of the best singers ever, side by side mixing it up!

Todd is in this summer's All-Starr Band as well, 20 years later. As I write this there are still some shows left - if you're tempted, go see it - carpe diem.
