Thanks for this video. Actually I'm seriously thinking of getting an FS30 like you have reviewed in other videos, and installing castors on it, as for me moving it is a must as I will need to move it off to the side every time I'm done using it since I am a hobbyist in a garage and still park in the garage when not working. Having the ability to move it in all directions would be great for me. Then I saw your video and you said that the nut for one of the castors came loose which was disappointing. Actually I have read in older forums where people were happy with their castors so trying to get an idea of the risks of me going that route. I was just curious, when you put in the castors, did you just hand tighten them to the bottom of the legs, or did you use a wrench to snug them up to the legs? Also I was curious if you move the FS30 fairly often like I would have to do, or if you only moved it a few times before it broke. Also thanks for the review video as it is helping me decide on the FS30.

I move it every time I use it. The mounting point is a nut that is tack welded on two sides that broke; this was not a good solution in my opinion! Thanks for watching.

Bora PM-1100 caster kit with double layer 5/8" Baltic Birch platform has worked well for my jointer and band saw. A bar between the two foot levers allows a one foot press to switch between mobility or stability. For higher load levels your solution is still better.

The main problem I have with the Bora and others like it is the lack of freedom of movement. In a small shop, the ability to easily move the equipment front, back, left, right diagonal (lol) is important to me. Thanks for watching!

How easy is the leveling rachet system when fully loaded with weight?
