I’m looking forward to the Snake Men waves, although I’m only up to Wave 8 and already running out of room. My plan was to eventually open and document everything by doing my own videos (I know most of it would be so outdated at this point, but why not). I’ve got almost everything still in package on the top two shelves of my shelf unit with the vehicles and exclusives in closets, but my kid can also reach up pretty far with his long arms to grab the figures, so I may not be able to hold off on opening everything for too much longer, lol! Snake Armor He-Man looks really cool! I’m kind of disappointed that Khan and Rattlor don’t have their defining action features. I mean, Rattlor’s tagline is “Evil Creature with the Quick Strike Head”…and yet he doesn’t have a quick-strike head. At least he still rattles! I understand that some sacrifices have to be made, but without the features that made many of these figures so unique in the first place, what’s really the point? With a little bit of effort, I can’t see why the action features couldn’t have been incorporated into them as deluxe figures. Otherwise, why not just save them for Masterverse, which are specifically designed for posing and display. I thought the whole point of Origins was to recreate and modernize the vintage line by showcasing the “origins” of all these characters. Oh well, it is what it is. I still want them, lol! Okay, small fanboy rant over! Great review! 🙂
Thanks for Stopping in to Check out the Review as always! I really like all three figures from this Origins Snakemen wave! I was a bit dissapointed of the lack of the Vintage action features. But im ok with simple Swaps in the heads or just plug in action features now. I totally understand why Mattel changed The figures to be more simple..The cost of Tooling one new figure like Rattlor for Example is around $100 000 dollars for Sculpt and Tooling. He is a whole New figure. Even Kobra Kahn has a bit of new Tooling. Adding those action features now on top of that is Toy Engineering and Other Mechanics that are very time consuming and Expensive too. Then Factory manufacturers cost. Paint and you have to retool and make the Inside of the Figures body Hollow with Springs and switches for Rattlor. And a Hollow body with a sealing Squirt Mechanism that dosent leak for Kobra Kahn and Ect! They also have To do testing for child safety as well. We live in different times from the 80s were toys have to more simple like the Origins in order to pump figures out faster and keep prices down with high inflation costs today. So we pay more and get less! Lol. But that's going on with everything now! Not just action figures. That's cool you have everything in card. I don't have room for that either and plus doing reviews I damage most of the packaging taking stuff out! It's fun to start to review stuff. Yeah I Think KIng Hisss and Thunder punch He-man will hit the end of this month or December. But not sure who will get the early distribution just like certain places got some of wave 11 early.

I don't mind a couple of them. But many I have no interest in. I would rather stick to the Regular Motu figures. The action features would have been cool. But I understand from tooling costs why they cut then today. You can do more with customizing now with simple ball joints.
Yeah bro this is Awesome! At least the Three snakemen Related figures. That Armor on Rattlor is a must if you can find one. I wish the Origins just made Rattlor a deluxe and give him one like the 200x design.
@@Themanchlid I know, right? I know origins is trying to duplicate the vintage line, but it would be nice if they actually did some cool 200X stuff as well. The 200X stuff they’re going for is a little simple. But I understand why, of course.
@@TheWandifan I think the Origins is gonna put out more 200x style figures like Snake Teela and Meck-e-neck to start from the Rumors. But of coarse they will be More simple looking.
The rattle feature for Ratlor is really fun. I’m really bummed that Kobra Khan doesn’t have the spraying feature! And I was thinking it would have been so cool if they would have made a neon green sword for snake armor he man.
Thanks for checking the video out! I'm glad they at least kept the Rattle function in Rattlor being the Removed The Neck pop feature. Yeah I was a little dissapointed with the lack of the Spray Feature in Kobra Kahn at first. But we live in different times then the 80s and Toy Manufacturing and Engineering is very expensive now. So its easier to just make a Simple tooled buck with it being Hollow inside and a simple Ball peg feature. Adding a Squirting Mechanism has to tested and can't leak plus it has to go through child safety testing and more Complex factory assembly. The Neon Green sword would have been interesting. But I think they were trying to just stay closer to the 200x figures Sword Design in Silver but in the more Simple Origins style
Thanks for Stopping in as always! Lol. Oh yeah! That Armor is a must have for Rattlor. But I had a feeling the Origins one didn't come with one unless he was deluxe.
Yeah I'm sure you ordered from BBTS.. They said they don't know why Mattel has been sending them international figures the last couple waves.. They did some U.S. of this wave later on though
Yep! Mine came from BBTS. I had a feeling the figures and comics were international. The distribution with MOTU is such a mess. You never know what, when and Where the figures turn up. Its all good. I don't read the comics to much anyway. I'm more into the figures. So just happy to have them👍
so excited for that Snake Armor (SA) He-Man... does the power sword from the 200X-version He-Man in Wave 9 same as that with SA He-Man? or do they differ in paint applications? thanks..
Thanks for Checking out the Review! I really like how Snake Armor He-man came out in the Line. The Power Sword looks the same. The silver looks a little bit dull to me then the 200x wave 9 Sword. If you noticed the Red cross color in my video when I compared the Wave 9 He-man to thr SA He-man. It's because I painted the Cross Red. It did not come like that.
thanks for the inputs.. the reason I asked is that the Wave 1 regular He-Man's Power Sword has a slight different shade of color with that of Battle-Armor He-Man's Power Sword.. I just thought there might be a difference this time.. I already have the 200x Wave 9 He-Man.. but im definitely getting the Snake Armor He-Man.. thanks for these videos.. keep on going, we love these contents.. stay safe.. with love from the Philippines..
@@agiolagon No problem! Yeah I think most of The Origins He-man variants always seem to have a different Shading or color in the Weapons from what see. That's great You got the 200x He-man already. Great review again of these figures, kobra khan is one of my favourites that i had of the vintage figures.Have you got mekanek and the ground ripper set yet as i have watched some other reviews of this set.
Thanks for Watching as always! Kobra Khan is my favorite too! Yes I the Ground Ripper coming today. It Got Stuck in transit. I'll Review it as soon as I can!
I was so excited to have that Kobra Kahn as a kid with the water squirting action! I'm so happy, Origins released this figure once again, even though they eliminated the action feature and now use the articulation snap on the head. Thanks for stopping in to check out this review and sharing your thoughts as always 👌
The unfortunate thing about the neck extension feature on Rattlor and MekaNek was that you have to keep torso twisted if you want the neck extended at all time for display, so the new necks allow them to be display as normal.
Thanks for Watching! Yes your Correct about that! That's one thing I don't care for now as when I was a kid and had the vintage Meck-e-neck it was fun. I think I like the snap together options now without twisting the waist as you Mentioned.
@@SupremeCommanderBaiser Yes I had the Rattlor as a kid. It was a little square button in the back. I don't recall saying in the video that he didn't have one. I just said they removed the neck popping action feature. Yes The Meck-e-neck had the Twist waist. I remember it all like it was yesterday with those vintage figures. I had most of the collection then as a kid👍
Thanks buddy! Yeah the distribution is in the USA this time. So they were much cheaper to get. Many people are getting these from BBTS and places while Supplies last👍
Thanks for checking out the video. That's a great custom idea and way to get the classics armor on the figure. Its fun to customize this stuff when we take the time and try different things!👌
@@Themanchlid Or not at all...REALLY like your videos .. I agree with the sticker . I have seen some very koOL stickers on REDBUBBLE .. Thank you ..take care :)
I'm kinda with you, I bought Kobra Khan, Rattlor, and Bolt Man. But I didn't like the Snake armor He Man. I did a similar thing with Digitino. I just wasn't in to him, however I bought the Sun Man 3 pack at Target, cause I loved the flat top Sun Man, and Space Sumo was also cool. Sometimes the figures just aren't interesting enough.
Thanks for watching. Yep! I do the same Thing. I also got the Sunman three pack because of the flat top Sunman head too. I had no interest in the boltman. I did get the Digitino. The head was really detailed but looked so Kid like I really liked his armor that glowed in the dark..I know we want to collect them all. But it's OK to pick and choose certain figures and just pretend they don't even exist or part of the Origins line👍
No I never buy Two. Once in a while I might get a double. But usually just one of each. I film and take pictures of the cards first then rip them out and film the figures in Sections.
The neca clear 10 pack of figure stands also work well for Masterverse and Origin figures, I bought 2 packs of them for some of my figures that have a harder time standing up.
Yeah I have those too.The best are the Metal kaiser stands for bigger figure. The origins can use those other ones. All my figures fall sooner or later. I also use liquid joint fix helps. The Knees and feet are always the Problem.
Great review every time, always looking forward to them. I have no interest in the sun man and 2000x lines. I am only interested in completing the vintage toy line. And also filmation he man and she ra characters. And 1987 movie figurines and revelation figures.
Thanks for Checking the Review out as Always! Yeah I'm more into the Vintage and filmation too. I don't mind the 200x stuff. I only wanted Sunman him self for the Origins and Masterverse. I don't really care about the rest of those guys either. She-ra is always great too. Maybe we will see some Origins movie figures. The Masterverse has them coming out soon.👍
I just hope to see 200X Fisto in MOTU Origins Style and finally come alongside the missing massive sword that was finally released in the Classics Line✝️☦️✊🏻👊🏻🤜🏻🤛🏻🥊🐂🍖🍺⛪️🏰
Since they cost reduced the action features but still increased the prices, they could’ve added more paint deco. Kobra Khans mouth, Rattlors extended neck, & snake armor he mans armor could’ve been more detailed. Very disappointing since they’re essentially $20 figures. I’m still happy they’re at least getting produced but damn. Missed opportunities to fix the body proportions & paint apps.
Yes I'm a little dissapointed with some of the deco too. I get with inflation today. Prices are going up on everything. And we are getting less. Some figures really get the extra details. Others do not. I understand the cost increases. I also get that the Origins line is just reimaging the vintage Line which was very simple. But the origins does have better articulation and some details depending on the figures. I'm also glad we are just getting this stuff too. I think they are trying to push out as many figures as they can to complete the vintage ones. But it depends on the characters. Some are all new Tooling like Rattlor. That's probley $100 000 figure with sculpt and Tooling costs today.
No unfortunately he does not. Just like Rattlor doesn't pop his neck. Stinks. I wish they had those actions features. But We have changeable Heads now. So im ok with that. But I do understand your frustration. Thanks for watching and sharing your comments 👍
Well it is mostly made for new generations....these toys were already made ....MOTU Classics are better though more expensive. I m always disappointed to see always the same characters again and again. I remember how I was delighted some years ago when they decided to make scarce MOTU and SheRa characters such as Scorpia, Vultak, Octavia, Granita...among the MOTU Classics line
That was the whole idea of making the the Origins line. To get the Collectors and their kids into it like they were in the 80s. Yes Classics will always be thr best!👍
Yeah mine got delayed in transit. It takes time to open and Review this stuff. I wish these newer waves just came in those collector slip covers like the mattel creations 40th anniversary figures came in.
Yeah the Feeling can go either way. I was originally dissapointed about that. But I kind of like the Head Custom options instead. I think Mattel did this to save Tooling and engineering inside the bodies for those action features now.
Not interested in any Sunman . Anyway how many heman figures did we get already lol Package is cool the snake scales. Eventually I wanna do a live video with you. My bro ….we can talk about classics and life 😎
I didn't mind the Sunman him self. But I don't need the of the figures. There are Many popular He-man variants. So I think Mattel is just pushing those variants to mimic The Vintage line. Yeah maybe we can get Together one day. Not sure about a live stream because of My health issues. I talked all about in the Podcast. We just did a Regular Stream that AJ set up with some streaming service That Face times His Lap Top and my Phone. Then he edited it and posted it. Plus I set up in my Toy gararge far from the WIFI and the live Sreaming is a mess. Me and my friend tried it on Discord one time for fun. The live feed had to much annoying las.
@@Themanchlid when you lived in the getto lol. Bro got the moss man question??? Did you have one open. I find my knee joints are alittle loose. If i hold his straight out like hes levitating they bend abit. Should they not be tighter or is this common and im just a maniac?
I must say that i am not collecting (from the Origins Line) the Sun-sh*t-Figures but the 200x reimagined versions too. But i will stop after the next variations: Thunder Punch & Dragon Blaster collecting 200x, Mini Comic Variants and any kind of variant which was not vintage 80. I have no roomspace anymore and i want the important figures (80er Remakes) to have a well deserved postition in my room. Cobra and Rattlor are awesome, 200x Snake Armor looks like crap!
Thanks for checking out the video! I agree with what you're saying about collecting the vintage inspired Origins and not going outside those figures because of space and lack of interest. I don't mind some 200x or filmation stuff mixed in the Origins. I also had enough of the Sunman stuff! I really hope the Origins finishes up all the vintage figures we had as kids. Thanks cool! It usually the other way around from most people. They want the Snakemen and not another He-man variant. I think they are all cool. Hopefully you get him soon👍
@@Metalxx69 Because they are trying to save money on the Tooling and Engineering, plus factory Assembly costs to get these newer Origins figures out. Rattlor was probably a 100 000 dollars tooled figure without getting into action features.

Very much like the Original. Bit the Legs ban be a little taller because of the Articulation and the Neck pop action feature gone. Aside that! I like the look 👍
Have have to keep in mind these are Origins. They are a little better Sculpt, Details and articulation depending on the figure. But still just a line reimaging those vintage figures which very cool looking for the time! Are very basic Toys.
Yes! I had the Original one as a kid. They no longer have those action features. Now it's just a Ball peg Attached head and Acid spitting Effect that plugs into the mouth to simulate Fluid Spitting.
Yeah it's a mixed bag for many It would been really to see that. But I think the Origins line will be moving away from more action features to more Retro play to save time and Tooling costs to get more vintage figures out faster.

@@Themanchlid
That’s true about the child safety concerns and testing. Man… Back in the 80’s we had some dangerous toys by todays standards! lol
@@bryansphere6359 Yes They were! I remember a few lines in the 80s that got canceled then.
Awesome review as always.
Also you may have inadvertently created a market for rattler armor on ebay. Lol
So just happy to have them👍
Awesome review as usual my friend 💪🏻👍🏻👌🏻
Thanks for watching as always buddy👍😁💯
so excited for that Snake Armor (SA) He-Man... does the power sword from the 200X-version He-Man in Wave 9 same as that with SA He-Man? or do they differ in paint applications?
Some people in other countries still can't find that wave. I'll do best to keep the videos up! Thanks for your interest and support👍
Kobra khan was always a favorite toy like most of the water squirting toys in the 80's
I was so excited to have that Kobra Kahn as a kid with the water squirting action! I'm so happy, Origins released this figure once again, even though they eliminated the action feature and now use the articulation snap on the head. Thanks for stopping in to check out this review and sharing your thoughts as always 👌
I like Evil Snakemen from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe!😮😮😮
The Snakemen are some of the coolest MOTU figures in the series!👍😁
@@Themanchlid Yes!!!!
Thats wrong. Rattlor had a button on his back that you pushed to extend the neck. No need to twist him at all.
You are right on Mechanek though.
Cool review buddy I’m glad we got these figures now and not Malaysia like the last 3waves it’s just to expensive if you can’t wait 👍😎
Thanks buddy! Yeah the distribution is in the USA this time. So they were much cheaper to get. Many people are getting these from BBTS and places while Supplies last👍
Great wave and review bro!
Thanks bro! Yeah I just seen your videos and you got them too! Great pick ups👍
I got the classic’s armor on him by warming it up and slipping it over the body (no arms on and keep the harness *Pegs connected*).
Thanks for checking out the video. That's a great custom idea and way to get the classics armor on the figure. Its fun to customize this stuff when we take the time and try different things!👌

Sometimes you just gotta be picky choosey. Lol. But I'm loving the line regardless.
Thanks for watching. Yep! I do the same Thing. I also got the Sunman three pack because of the flat top Sunman head too. I had no interest in the boltman. I did get the Digitino. The head was really detailed but looked so Kid like
I really liked his armor that glowed in the dark..I know we want to collect them all. But it's OK to pick and choose certain figures and just pretend they don't even exist or part of the Origins line👍
Great review!
Thanks for checking it out and leaving a comment👍
Just curious do you always buy 2 of each character one for in and out of package purposes, or???
I have no interest in the sun man and
2000x lines.
Thanks for checking the review out! 200s origins fisto is possible. They did the 200x He-man ans Skeletor. Also 200x Snake Teela and Man at arms.
Really nice looking figures there.
Thanks for watching the video. Yeah I'm really happy with these three in hand👍
Oo cant wait for Khan and Rattlor great set
Yeah these are a must have. You will really like those two and they are fun to review👍
Spectacular set.
Thanks for checking out the video and sharing your positive comments on this set! Yes, this is definitely a cool set of figures for th origins line👍
The original Rattlor used to have a rattle sound as well as his action feature.
Yes I mentioned that the review. He still has the Rattle sound. No Neck pop action features. Just ball peg snap on.
This WAVE actually hit here in Western CANADA ...saw it once ..bought the HE-MAN .. at 23.00 CDN. each just a bit much .
It's cool that you saw these figures in Canada now! Yes, the prices are going up everywhere on this stuff. Nice pick-ups on that He-man👍
WHAT?! Kobra Khan does not spray water anymore??? What the hell??? He was my favorite toy but he needs his water feature!!!
No unfortunately he does not. Just like Rattlor doesn't pop his neck. Stinks. I wish they had those actions features. But We have changeable Heads now. So im ok with that. But I do understand your frustration. Thanks for watching and sharing your comments 👍
Snake Armor Skelly looks great also.
Yes Awesome looking figure. I can't wait to get him in hand along side Thunder Punch He-man.
What figure is 32:20 battle-ready head from? I'd like to shop around for it.
Thanks for checking out the video. The Figfrom 32:20 is The Masters of the universe origins Wave 9 200x He-man or The He-man in Origins wave 9.
The Battle head is from the Masters of the universe Masterverse New Eternia Viking He-man which has the same Ball peg and will fit that Origins He-man
Well it is mostly made for new generations....these toys were already made ....MOTU Classics are better though more expensive.
I haven’t even opened the last couple waves yet. I’ve been so busy with work.
Yeah mine got delayed in transit. It takes time to open and Review this stuff. I wish these newer waves just came in those collector slip covers like the mattel creations 40th anniversary figures came in.

Snake Men without real action function is like a snake without fangs :(
Yeah the Feeling can go either way.

@@MNC122703 What Mossman are you referring too? The Classics, or Revalations. The Origins isn't coming until later in the year.
Thunder punch He-man is out now. I just reviewed him on my channel! Dragon blast Skeletor was teased! So he is also coming to Origins later in the year! Only collect what you like and support in the end👍
@@Themanchlid Thunder Punch and King Hiss are expected to come in March 2023 in our Country. I'm not buying them now from BigBadToystore, because its expensive to import (We imported Snout & Leech! No Neck stretch action feature? Aaaw come on, Mattel! -.-'
Nope! Just a pop on Replacement ball peg piece now.
@@Themanchlid Why they just did that?!
@@Metalxx69 Because they are trying to save money on the Tooling and Engineering, plus factory Assembly costs to get these newer Origins figures out. Rattlor was probably a 100 000 dollars tooled figure without getting into action features.
Aaargh!

Hey Thanks for stopping in. I have said i pretty much have most of the Masterverse Or Origins figures up to date. I might be Missing a couple things here and there. If I really am unsure or not interested in a particular figure or Piece I will not buy and Review it because I want to review things I'm really into myself and not push the wrong message to other people who are interested in the thing I picked up. Rattlor looks the same as the original.
Very much like the Original. Bit the Legs ban be a little taller because of the Articulation and the Neck pop action feature gone. Aside that! I like the look 👍
Pitty for the Mattel !pitty for the figures!
They are mixed with many people now because of that lack of the action features now
They could’ve painted the back on the neck smfh
Have have to keep in mind these are Origins. They are a little better Sculpt, Details and articulation depending on the figure. But still just a line reimaging those vintage figures which very cool looking for the time! Are very basic Toys.
Absolutely zero interest in sunman figures.
I don't need anymore either!
that use shoot water out of his mouth befor
Yes! I had the Original one as a kid. They no longer have those action features. Now it's just a Ball peg Attached head and Acid spitting Effect that plugs into the mouth to simulate Fluid Spitting.
Kobra Khan without action future is not Kobra Khan... Very Bad aq
Yeah it's a mixed bag for many
It would been really to see that. But I think the Origins line will be moving away from more action features to more Retro play to save time and Tooling costs to get more vintage figures out faster.
