From this month I have started my UPSC CSE preparation and I am studying GS mains paper-wise like March -May GS-1 which includes History ( Modern+World+Post-independence) then Indian Art and Culture after that Geography and at last Indian Society next 2 months will be for GS-2 then 2 months for GS-3 and last October for GS-4 . Next I will prepare for Optional paper 1 in Nov-Dec and Paper 2 in January -February. My Optional is sociology, this time along with optional I will also revision my GS papers. Then from March I will start for answer writing for 1-1.5 months then if the prelims exam will be in this time next year then I will start preparing for Prelims preparation for that Mock tests are essential, though the PYQ of all prelims and mains I will study after completion of each and every subject. Next after May next year 'll start for practicing answer writing of all GS papers, essays and optional papers. Here I will write an essay every Sunday throughout this presentation period and ya magazine reading will also be done on each Sunday and rest of the days only Hindu reading and the GS papers reading will be done. Let's see what happen after this study schedule of next 1 year.

So among all of them I am one of the girl.. who is little confusing about this strategies nd very early thing is .. I am not completed yet my graduation.. so I can go for bsc nd ba .. but my 12th is completed in science.. which would be better.. nd also I have the plan for this year joining the degree course..plz tell me sir 🙏

See choose your graduation keeping career in mind. Don’t do graduation just for upsc :) you can pursue your interest:)

Everything is ok for me ...but now I'm fighting with my lazzyness. I don't need motivation cause I have proper information & knowledge & fixed aim what I want (IPS) .But This lazzyness is caused burden on my daily routine & study,..,🥲🥲also fill guilty.....even my focus & Goal is strong but laziness all over 🥲🙂. I understand that this lazzyness is killing my life, but i can't get rid from this.

1) coaching notes like vision unacademy onlyias vajiram prapladder (they summarised imp thing which I covered after 2-3times reading ).....and than reference book
2) ncert and reference book nothing else
I was finalized my booklist watch your video
Means
NCERT and reference books. And then use coaching material for value added and if needed for some topics or mains subjects.
For some subjects coaching notes help a lot

I have a query on UPSC exam pattern Sir.
As we know that there is compulsory Indian language paper (qualifing marks) . Sir i am born nd brought up in Nagaland . My whole Academic session have been in Nagaland so i only know English. However my parents also stay here in Nagaland but we lay our roots from Assam. My Dad serves at Nagaland Armed Police. He was also born here in Nagaland and so...
I have no clue of either my Mother tounge i.e Assamese
Or Hindi
So is it possible that i can get relaxation on that paper or i have to sit for it anyhow.

You are very brave that you at least choosed your aim and upsc is challenging not impossible ok
So just go through the syllabus and choose wisely which language you can learn faster and better with speaking and writing skills both. Have some basic understanding of both the languages and read some books or general topics in that languages .
Then choose in which language you are more comfortable because you don't need to master it you just have to qualify the language paper.
And you know that there is no alternative for the language paper. You have to choose.

And in my knowledge I think there is no problem if you're living in nagaland and can't choose Assamese or any other language. There is nothing like that.

Currently I am in 2nd year of Graduation (B.A.). I'll be 21 in June 2024. Sir, I really wanted to go for the CSE of UPSC. Many times I tried to start my preparation but at an interval of time irrelevant things or u may call it incident happens to me. I always get distracted by it. In short sir I want to get out of all these things. But I cannot do it. Actually it occurs in my family sir. I'm unable to focus on my preparation. I just want to learn how to focus on ur study and continue it and don't loose concentration and avoid all those bullshits.

Everyone does face issues like this but one should have a buring desire to restart as soon as possible! and keep going!
Having family problem is totally relatable and happens with everyone. But u need to make sure that u don't get carried away. Focus on preprationand urself too. If some serious issue is there... At least give 3-4hr consistently with no compromise. Phone switch off,shut ur chit chat mind and just start. Just focus 101%in those4hrs. And surely u'll se result👍
