Hey man nice video! Literally left the house today at 5:00 a.m. to go hit the Lake for the day. Got there and they had the boat ramp closed on the Maryland side the gate and all. You obviously know the West Virginia side is no good. I've been keeping an eye on the water levels at the lake and it was just back to the point where I could get the boat in. And of course they closed the ramp! 2 hour and 15min drive one way down the crapper! If you're planning to go back up there anytime soon I'd call ahead to make sure that's open. Just wanted to give you a heads up.
I've caught some good rock bass, but that was a tank. Man, how did you put in there? I rode up today and sign said the ramp in MD was closed and the other slot by the dam was way to far for me to roll my yak down, I believe. Are you able to back down there a little closer? I can't believe how low it is this year, I know where alot of Xmas trees and habitat lay now lol.

Yeah, I went up on the 5th and it said the ramp was closed for season but the gate was open. Easy launch for the kayak. With it so low the WV ramp is out of the equation, other wise you could just hit that one.
With these numbers, I am truly amazed at the absence of fishermen everywhere out there. Bout a 3 hour drive for me, but I am gonna make it for sure. Savage?

The only species of rock bass they keep records on in Georgia they call a Shadow Bass...record is 10 oz.

I was lucky! This was on Nov. 6th and the gate was opened. I only had a foot of ramp left but it was enough for a light trailer and boat. Crazy low!
