I cried for 20 minutes to this song earlier
Why did it make you cry?
I ask, because I did the same when I first heard this song when it very first came out. Repeat and repeat, and especially during the scene with the two fathers in the end of the video. One running with his boy on his shoulders and the other kissing his son's cheek. Beautiful, true, real moments.
I took my Lady to a concert of theirs in Chicago... it was amazing... even after some random women punched the singer in the nose breaking his nose. Swear on my children's lives that he kept singing and playing the trumpet like nothing ever happened.
Why she punched him? She was causing a scene throughout the night. I couldn't really hear or witness any of it until after Foxxing left, but she was being aggressive towards the security. My Lady and I believe that she was just drunk asf. I don't understand myself why they didn't throw her ass out sooner though...
Anyway, this is still my favorite song by Foxxing. Such a talented group. I hope to see them again one day.
