- I decided to put this video together for fun. I bring you, ALL 11 MegaMan Themes! My new favorite one is MegaMan 10.
Please note that the MegaMan 9 and 10 logos at the end of the video are custom made by me, because I like the old classic MegaMan logo's better, along with the roman numerals.

They should re-work Mega Man 10 into a Mega Man X game in the style of Mega Man X, X2 and X3. It buy that!!

Yeah, 5's theme is my favorite but you really need to hear it in context. The way it transitions from the opening cutscene is what really pushes it over the top for me. It's fantastic.
I have to say my favourite is Megaman 5’s intro with 3 being my second pick : D
I love MM3's opening theme, but I think MM5 had the best intro in the whole series. I just love how the awesome theme cuts into the title screen after the cool cinematics.

I never knew that mega man had such GREAT music!!! My faves are 2 and 3 (II, III)

Megaman 1's theme is quiet different as it was an arcade game, which for an arcade game sounds quite alluring.
Megaman 2's theme is catchy as it is the (second) beginning of something new. as it sets the bar for the rest of the series, in almost everything; from its music, gameplay, story and flat out nostalgic. (Which many fans would argue is soon to be beat by 3).
Megaman 3's theme explains the hardships Megaman will face. From Wily making it personal with Breakman. To Megaman having to fight Dr. Light's (supposedly) unbeatable peacekeeping Weapon Gamma. And what else he is to find.
4's theme explains part the difficulty of the game but more so the sudden betrayal of Dr. Cossack and Megaman's friends Pharaohman and Flashman.
5 explains the revelation of what will happen to Breakman. With it's elegant (for 8 bit music) theme.
6's theme theme and intro shot explains that Megaman will fight the world's most deadliest robot masters against his new enemy Mr.X.
7's theme is the beginning of a new more advanced era with new people and new challenges.
8's theme continues the style of this era with its difference in odd funky beats & sounds. (Yet still sounds appealing.) As compared to most previous themes.
Megaman & Bass's theme shows although Megaman, Protoman, and Bass are being challenged by King, they take with a bit of excitement.
9' theme explains the return of the Legend of the Blue Bomber, as he dawn's the iconic armor, (that we all recognize) ones again to take on the rogue Robot Masters.
10's theme explains the alliance's troubles of the Roboenza plague. And the challenges that may come with it...(Albeit the shortest the of the entire series.)
And there you go most themes explained.
( P.S. I literally just became a fan of this less than a year ago. Thanks to the Freaking awesome Archie Comic's / Ian Flynn's take on the series.

Wayne Saibot I disagree with saying 4s had to do with the difficulty. 4 and 2 were two of the easiest classic megaman games, 4 in particular. If anything, 4 is about megaman kicking butt since he has the charge shot and because the game is much easier than the others. 4 is great too though, I don't mind the easier difficulty.

1 was actually the stage select theme. And I'm pretty sure you mean Bright Man, not Flash Man.
"Mega Man 1 was an arcade game"...... It has always been and always will be an NES original. In fact it was literally the first game Capcom made for a console that wasn't an arcade game first. How could you screw that up?
As far as I am aware MM1 was not on an arcade. The score system was just something in it for whatever reason, not something left over from an arcade.

I might be the only one but I think that the Megaman 4 and 5 are the best theme songs. They are really well done melodies.

MM5 is my favorite. Love the buildup and the dramatic cutscenes. MM3 as a close second. Love them both a lot!

Mega Man II theme was always my favorite, no doubt. When i heard it on one of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate stages, it gave me instant chills, so good!
The theme from Mega Man II is and will always be THE Mega Man theme.
this. exactly this cannot agree more. that dramatic pan up the skycraper as a kid on a saturday morning watching Megaman standing on top of the building just hyped me up soooooo much. to this day it instills large feelings of nostalgia and happiness.
Dr Wily's Revenge GB Title. I consider that as Mega Man 1's theme, but you should also check out RushJet1's mix of that. I consider that the real TRUE Mega Man theme.

1- This theme is good, but drab. 6.5/10
2- Yes, MM2 is overrated, but this theme is still great! 9.5/10
3- Best title theme ever! Dramatic, but interesting. 10/10
4- The beginning is boring, but later is awesome song! 9/10
5- This is good theme, but only good. 7.5/10
6- This theme is not great, but in my opinion, is better than MM5. 8/10
7- Yes, very short, but fucking epic! 9/10

Tengu man theme is just average for me, it's better than other Robot Masters themes in MM8, but still not that great as songs in other Mega Man games.

Frost Man?
Probably the best theme in this game, I changed my opinion after all those years, I think that Tengu Man Stage and Frost Man Stage have good songs, overall MM8 doesn't have bad OST, its OST isn't just as good as 1-7 Soundtracks in my opinion.
MM5 is so underrated(my personal fave theme), so is MM4 ;_;

MM5's theme, while awesome on its own, is much better in the context of the epic intro that precedes it.

I always loved how they made all the main characters' names music related (their original names at least) Rockman, Roll (Rock and Roll, I love that one), Blues (Protoman), Beat, Tango, Bass and Treble. I just found that awesome.
Megaman 3 title theme is amazing as it is, but those first 25 seconds, just holy shit.
my favorite is mega man 3 theme song, it starts like youre just a 40 year old dude sitting in a small cottage relaxing and shit, and then youre like: "im still a child" and go on an epic adventure

Megaman V is underestimated!
Not only the theme is awesome but it has some of my favorite stage tracks in the megaman series, such as Wave man, Gyro man, Napalm Man & Dark Man.
11.MM1 (Eh, it’s kind of relaxing but too simple, an alright way for the series to start)
10.MMandB (this one just doesn’t do it for me)
9.MM6 (Just ok, it has the instrumentation we’re all used to, but there are far better themes, I do really like the last few seconds of it though)
8.MM8 (Futuristic Feel, but it’s just alright)
7.MM10 (Gets you pumped, but it’s so short)
6.MM9 (It’s Good, get ready for battle, sounds like a slight progression from MM2’s Theme)
5.MM7 (So good, almost like X’s instruments but it’s far too short)
4..MM2 (One of the most iconic themes for the series)
3.MM4 (I simply love the melody and instrumentation, Megaman has a mission and he’s going to follow it through)
2.MM3 (Suprisingly emotional, starts off somber to represent the road the blue bomber has to take, while looking back at his past accomplishments probably with some heavy thoughts about him being forced to put down his own kind, but then music starts picking up and becomes more invigorating as he holds his head up high to continue his journey to protect his family and the world from Dr.Wily’s mayhem)
1.MM5 (This one just speaks to me, Megaman’s confused on what Protoman is doing but whatever it is he’s putting a stop to it)

2, 3, 5, and 9 are my favorites and are the most nostalgic

2 is easily the most iconic, when I think Mega Man I think the theme for Mega Man 2, but personally Mega Man 3's theme is my favorite out of all of them, it's just such an awesome all-around theme, by far one of the best themes in gaming,

Even though 3 was my first one, 2 and 3 are equally good. 2 sounds young, flashy, ambitious, and in-your-face. 3 sounds mature, wise, grizzled, reserved, but still containing the same amount of power (maybe even more) than before.
Still got Megaman V at home and discovered that people pay a shitload of money for it on ebay. Still won't sell it... I'll play it, smoking a god damn cigar.
