- VAC Some of your game files have been detected to have no signatures or invalid signatures. You will not be allowed to join VAC secure servers. Please verify your launch options, check correctness of your game installation, restart the game and try again.
If you couldn't fix it, other thing you can do is deleting the folder "bin" in the game's folder and click the repare files option in Steam.

@@AlreadyLeo wait, but you either have AMD or Nvidia graphics card, not intel? Intel is processor. edit: yeah, just googled there are intel cards. Keep looking you'll find the solution for sure

Using an AMD card can take a huge advantage in a such non-standardized task like running Linux as a daily driver even for DXVK+wine and native gaming.
Also it works completely out of the box on most popular distributions without additional tinkering caused by driver installation process and its functioning
in other words, AMD offloaded something they never could properly do themselves - drivers development - to unsuspecting community nerds. way to go.

it's not the nvidia drivers. it's your mother after-school lovers injecting cheats into otherwise useful nvidia features, that's why vac bans the feature.
When I try to start cs2 without running it as administrator it won't start. I press "play" but never opens up. Only opens when I run as administrator...

I also have MpOav.dll in my foreign signature file and its related to window defender i tried putting the game golder in window defender exeption but it doesn't work

VAC being VAC, not letting us normal players play but lets all the cheaters to play as much as they want.....just stupid
I had this same problem. I had to run cs2 as admin so that the game could launch but I could only play if my friends invited me otherwise the anti-cheat message would show up.
I installed the inspector and turned ansel off but it didn't work. It only worked if I turned ansel off and then run cs2 as not admin.

I have the same thing on the foreign.signatures file, but i can't change the "Enable Ansel" Setting from ON to OFF on the "Base Profile", i can do it on any other profile, in fact i did it in all of them, but the VAC message keeps appearing. Every other profile keeps that setting on OFF once applied, but when i change it on Base Profile and try to "Apply Changes" it outputs the following error message:
"DRS_SetSetting failed: NVAPI_NOT_SUPPORTED". I googled this but i found nothing... Please help.

I know but I got confused and checked on the csgo.exe file BC I thought that was it. I didn't know there was a separate cs2.exe file, also I never changed the "run as admin" thing so I'm asking myself why would it be installed/updated that way? 🤦🏻

Use GPU driver uninstaller and remove all graphic drivers. Restart and install fresh driver. I fixed a friends buy doing this. Must have been a direct X issue.
reinstalling gpu drivers has nothing to do with directx
@@izzyliehave you tried it. Worked perfectly for me. And the GPU driver talks directly to direct X and cago uses different direct X than cs2
no it's not. its impossible to reinstall dx in win10+

recommendations for what? the game (cs.exe) nor the steam client must _not_ run as admin to work properly

3000 series doesn't have ansel per say. but there is a setting in geforce experience called photomode/gamefilter when you press alt + z and go to settings. once in there you can disable the capture/enhance option.
