I wouldn’t let a child under 16 see the film or the musical. It’s diffidently adult themed just like the R film. I’d suggest 17 going on 18 tomorrow and up only; other that, its nicely done.
I hatehow they watered it down so much.. There isnt much cursing even though its aimed for a mature/teen audience and it just feels so SCRIPTED and dry ☹️. other than that i cannot wait!! ❤️💚💙💛
The writer did a teen ver for the school he rewrote a lot of the songs for them, and later he said he liked those versions better so some of them also end up in the new west end ver

Agreed the performance leaves much to be desired from the cast of the Roku version. The line deliveries from them are bad and awkward. And then the direction for the pacing of the libe deliveries is just off it's not as funny as the slim tutorial performance I can watch on RUclips.

@@sirenyt9224 First, I know I'm funny. Secondly, I like plenty of musicals and I like the original film Heathers, but not every film can be fluidly adapted to a musical. Shrek and Hairspray worked because they're already campy. Mean Girls and School of Rock - not so much. This just looks awkward all around. Sorry. One man's opinion, but not sure why productions aim to reproduce classics. Seems wiser to choose a film or story with unfulfilled potential.
Is the fact that you took the time to search for this video and even had the time to comment this instead of just shutting your mouth but decided it was a good idea to underestimate the job of directors, producers, dancers, actors, costume designers etc just because you don't like the musical, but still here you are, searching and commenting on something that you think it's cringe, this is the attention you wanted? They keep in the curse words in the full recording, they just removed them for the trailer.
