Schindler Hydraulic Elevators - Target (East) - Springfield, PA

This building was originally a Strawbridge & Clother which opened in the late 60s and closed in 1997. In 1998, Target opened on the first two floors and Bed Bath & Beyond opened on the third. These elevators were originally Schindler RT (see video: • Schindler Hydraulic El... ) and were modernized in recent years when the store was remodeled/updated. My guess is that the freight elevator was installed in by Target in 1998 as well, though it is possible that it was left over from Strawbridge's and still goes up to the BB&B store, but I doubt it because there is no sign of a freight from what I saw in BB&B.
