Hello there ! This part of France from Saint Malo to Nantes is called Brittany, and used to be a country. I was a mix with « brit’s » and celtics. There are a lot to see you missed the « rose cost » with granit with the special color. Don’t miss Carnac the most iconic menhir and dolmen place in the world. I am in Pornichet if you need a stop point and maybe I can help. Thank you to give dreams !

Camaret. I hope you had the occasion to learn the famous song about the Priest of Camaret ! Next time I hope you'll sing it to us with your ukulele 😁
Regarding your salmon I read "trout" (truite) on the pack. Technicaly a trout is a member or the salmonids family, but it's not a salmon and certainly not "a weird French salmon".
    Just a trout. 😉

Been watching your videos for the past year or so. My Father used to take me out sailing as a kid with his buddies up in mid-coast Maine. I remember getting anxiety from how they would sail - getting the edge as close to the water as possible. Never thought I'd want to go sailing again in my life but you proved me wrong. From the way you explain what you're doing to the places you explore. It's a world full of wonder and excitement. What really makes these videos special is your vibrant, wholesome personality which makes the viewer feel as though we are watching a good friend on his adventures across the seas - a place few of us are able to explore. Thanks for existing, Sam.

Again a nice video. The Bay of Biscay can be terrible when it comes to waves (see eg Igor Stropnik's videos where he sails various catamarans from the Netherlands and France to Croatia). By the way, I love these sleepy little French towns. Not only along the coast, but also inland. There is a very special atmosphere there which I really like with old buildings and a lot of unpretentious history.

Hi, Sam. Perhaps when you careened your boat it shifted the freon in to fridge such that it was not settled out when the boat recovered? Perhaps the fridge should stay unplugged for several hours afterwards? Wonderful videos, as always! -Mike

Is it compressor based? Not Peltier?

I think it was electrical because eventually it wouldn’t even turn on. I found a hopefully identical replacement im going to get tomorrow though. Bad timing for it to die just as the weather is warming up.

I can't go on boats in any kind of rough water. I get anxiety just stepping off the dock onto any boat that might not be ashore for any length of time. But, I'm so envious of Sam. The best parts of this video were the stabilized sea scenes with the large following waves. This is a scene I will probably never see in person. So, thanks. Thanks for the maps. This time I actually figured out where you would probably stop, from the name of the video. I'm 70 and there is one part of me that wishes you would get a proper sailing outfit, stay shaved, and cut your hair. When can you possibly find the time to edit and publish all the video? Thanks for all you do.
