I have a 2015 I did a custom cat back with four larger resonators but still sticking with 2.5in diameter pipe gave a nice crisp infinti sound without drone on hwy.
I dig the sound 👍. It seems faster too. Ever take it to the track 1/4? I wonder if we could get our QX50’s in the 13’s with exhaust and a little weight reduction. I wonder which headers would fit?
It all depends where you live, tax rate, technician/shop's fee (service charge) and other factors, but a ballpark could be between $300-600, depending how much customized work takes place
After having this for over a year now, I would *suggest to (still) go for a super small muffler. Being total muffler-less, sometimes after a long day, I just want a "quiet ride", but it's impossible. Once Muffler is deleted it's deleted (well unless you put it back on)....
@@Jawnson123 2:14 to 2:19, as you can see, there is no "straight" pipe, the curvature is there. Plus, the stock resonator is still on. I would suggest to *not* replace the stock resonators with aftermarket ones, because many times a.mkt ones may cause weird exhaust "fart noises" *compared* to the crisp, clean and deep Infiniti signature sound as you see in this video.... There is someone who has a G37X who lives down my street, who did exact same what I did, but *with* the small mufflers on, and he has *the* best sound. Mine is just a total noise-box from ignition-on to ignition-off. So, to my point again, a small muffler will "filter out" all "excess" noises, and only produce what's needed. It *won't* work on any versions older than 2017 QX70, because do not have the 3.7 VVEL engine! I don't recommend...

open the mufflee take off whats inside and weld it back on , that way u keep the muffler but its open inside , new sound but muffler still there! 🎉
