    I thought you might like a look at this nice 1958 Ford F100 shortbed pickup. It's still powered by the original 272 cubic inch Y-block V8, backed by a 3 spd manual transmission. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for taking a look!

    This truck has some factory options added later to it. The original AM radio was added later; if the radio came on the truck from the factory, the antenna would be on the passenger side. It's a very nice looking 58 F100. Outside mirrors were optional on all Ford trucks until the 1966 model year, when the DOT mandated that all vehicles had at least 2 mirrors on them, 1 inside and 1 outside on the driver side. Most states mandated retrofitting the driver side with a mirror on 1965 and older vehicles.

      RamblinAround and I appreciate the videos, I've learnt so much over the years from you, also if I asked very nicely and saw a car in the background I liked the look of would you be able to make a video on it?

    Gotta love the ugly ducklings. I lump these in with 1961 Chevy/GMC trucks, and love all of them.

    I thought the 58 had a wrap around rear window?

      All the 57-60 trucks had that big window available as an option.

    Do you have a price in mind?

  • @robertbennett5192
    @robertbennett5192 5 лет назад

    Pretty nice. I’d knock about $10K off the price for not doing the instrument panel in diamond plate, too. Can’t believe someone would leave that scratched up pos in the interior and ask that price!
    Do that one thing and some DUMBASS will probably drop twice that amount for it.
