Absolutely. Sometimes Pauls reaction the Tub of Lard (remenber that one?) just pops into my brain, making it almost impossible to stop laughing/grinning like some deranged idiot for about an hour. Great stuff.

A lot of these shows record for 2-3 hours and then edit it down, meaning some segments were left out as there weren't enough jokes, not as interesting, etc. But at the moment of recording they don't know what's going to make it to the final cut, so the score is counted anyway. I used to watch QI with my family (not the XL) and they would always complain that X panelist got a good score but rarely talked throughout the show, and it's because they got some answers right but it didn't make it to the final cut

The idea of raising the smoking age every year and starting at an age that's already younger than the legal smoking age is taken from New Zealand, except they started at 17, not 14 which means it only starts being a ban after 4 years. It's still got the same two problems as NZ too; its going to be incredibly hard if not impossible to enforce and it doesn't stop people smoking today.
I enjoyed that - I can't think of an episode I laughed at more. That fake chop : kids used to play with those : they were made of plastic. I know of one good meat substitute : it doesn't try to look or taste anything like meat.
