First heard this song back in 2011, during the BOTT 2011 in the Philippines with my family. I was just 11 back then but this song struck me. Despite being born as a pastor's kid, my faith was still unknown to me, but this song kept replaying in my mind even now that I'm 25. I can still remember seeing my family being filled with the Holy Ghost. My cousin being revived and listening to it now, makes me ache for my cousin, my brother, my aunts who have backslidden, my dad who died. That was a profound memory that I will never forget. It was the first time, at my tender age, to feel God, to question the true essence of my faith. I won't stop praying for both my brother and cousin and will keep believing in Jesus. Hallelujah!!

8 years ago as I was rushed to the ER for surgery this song played in my head, over and over and over. Jesus brought me through the knock at death's door. My faith stronger than before. My Pastor issued us the prayer challenge recently and this song is on the list. Then Jesus protects you, guides you and heals you from CANCER, you might understand the power of Jesus, the annointing of the Holy Ghost and the peace only Jesus can give your soul, mind and body. HE CAN AND DOES STILL HEAL TODAY, you are never so lost that HE doesn't care and want you to come to HIM and restore you. Only Jesus can do all this!
My name is Linda, I was once a part of your fellowship (religion). It was refreshing to leave and have God introduce me to the real meaning of His grace. His amazing grace was with me during 33 years of legalism to worship and serve a 'certain' way. Are we not living in the dispensation of 'grace'? The next dispensation is 'judgement'. Not to walk all over grace, you and I both sin, we are sinners until the day we die. My name is in the book of life, it's done, my name is sealed.
These people have beliefs that they hold very dear. God is not their religion God is their life. If they feel that they should dress in a way or live in a way that they feel brings them closer to the God of their lives who are we to judge. How can anyone listen to the Spirit if God come through this music and not know that they walk close to the maker of song. Lets just draw closer to God in our own lives and learn to have convictions that bring us closer. Then we will know the peace that passes all understanding and we won't feel the need to judge others.

Seriously guys. I'm 15 years old and I attend a upc church. First of all this isn't being in chains or dictatorship. It's having a relationship. The bible says be ye holy for I am holy. The standards are there to help us be holy and draw closer to God. And yes In some churches you can wear wedding rings and no your skirt doesn't have to be to your ankles. The upc standard is three inches past the knees. But this isn't even about that. This is a beautiful song expressing worship to God. It's not about how long her skirt is or what she's wearing. These people are genuinely reaching for God and some people on here are trying to start an argument. Leave your opinions to yourself. Let's all myself included act like real Christians.

When somebody brags on my earthly father or says something good about him, I am happy and in agreement. I am an Apostolic Pentecostal and when somebody brags on and gives praise to my heavenly Father, I am happy and my spirit is in agreement with them. My earthly and spiritual brothers and sisters react the same... Maybe wrongturn... you have a different father.

Today I’m appalled at the dressing I see in church today, even in my church it’s almost blasphemous to see the way people dress coming into the house of God, so inappropriate. Mickey Mangun has an amazing voice a true gift of god i have listened to her since i was younger ans my grandmother got me involved in listening to it. most songs from POA touch me so much. I was raised Pentecostal been lost for over 6 years now and I miss my walk with God but this world has me for now but one day I will be where I need to be by the grace of God. But this music has touched my life in a lot of ways when I struggle through suicide I turn it on and it calms me down a lot. I am so lucky to have access to such holy ghost filled people just through my phone keep it up you all have a true gift from God.

Although I do not agree with the clothing standards I do agree with their zeal for Christ. I have the Holy Ghost and have been baptized in Jesus Name and it is a beautiful experience. The people in the audience look well groomed and lovely. Nay-sayers? Sounds like you need a "God" fix!
It is amazing to me that people, even religious people, have no problem with people looking different as a work requirement, such as uniforms or dress code, but when people choose to look different than others when it comes to a sincerely held religious belief they are somehow legalistic. If you look back over time most of the denominational churches all held to a similar standard of dress, even the Catholic church required that women wear dresses into the 70's, but over time most have walked away from that teaching. What changed? Did the Word of God change, or did people just change along with society?

Holiness isn't standards however we know that almost everything meets or is required to meet a certain standard when you are a follower of Christ a life of separation is required such as he showed by example whatever people decide to do as a devotion to the Lord with their life we must remember what he told his disciples when they came running to him telling him we saw other men doing good works and all in your name Jesus responded let them there not working against us but there helping our cause and I paraphrase this scenario but we could learn a lot from the Lord rather than to fight and judge each other if someone is doing something as a devotion to the Lord there not tearing us down May God bless their efforts they make our world a better place to live

I remember having the same exact feeling when I was a Pentecostal or Apostolic. I was so "proud" that only my church was going to heaven and that all the other churches were "wrong" in their belief. I felt this sense of elitism and this sense that I knew so much better than others. Only the Apostolics are going to heaven I thought to myself...I do not condemn people of this people for I use to be one. They have great passion and are really dedicated to God even if it is misguided.
Alexandria stands for USA, Louisiana, Alexandria. It is the location in which this particular church building and ppl are from. Alexandria has nothing to do with their doctrine or beliefs. However, There are Pentecostal churches all over the USA. Just felt the need to clarify that. Some people are unaware.

Holiness isn't standards however we know that almost everything meets or is required to meet a certain standard when you are a follower of Christ a life of separation is required such as he showed by example whatever people decide to do as a devotion to the Lord with their life we must remember what he told his disciples when they came running to him telling him we saw other men doing good works and all in your name Jesus responded let them there not working against us but there helping our cause and I paraphrase this scenario but we could learn a lot from the Lord rather than to fight and judge each other if someone is doing something as a devotion to the Lord there not tearing us down May God bless their efforts they make our world a better place to live

I remember having the same exact feeling when I was a Pentecostal or Apostolic. I was so "proud" that only my church was going to heaven and that all the other churches were "wrong" in their belief. I felt this sense of elitism and this sense that I knew so much better than others. Only the Apostolics are going to heaven I thought to myself...I do not condemn people of this people for I use to be one. They have great passion and are really dedicated to God even if it is misguided.
