BULLET POINT for Beginner players: 24:30 I can 100% agree here. I made 3 early game accounts (for 2-3 years) and assisted 3 accounts of my guildmates' progression. I noticed that leveling up is more important in the first days. Once you get one 6star (finished the 6star Challenge) you can finish you 5star Giants team and clear G5-G7 quickly and you (as a beginner) will get average runes to clear G10 ez. G11-G12 will need a bit of team optimizing and grinding. So, take your time on lower floors and slowly climb.
I'm a returning played that used to play back in 2018 and decided to give the game a new try at a new account and im really impressed by how the game improved in so many ways. I'm beating GB10/DragonB10 having a 9-day account and its mindblowing. I also wanna thank you Bagel for your guides they were really helpfull
FYI, you always want to go for the blade runes from the fatal/energy/blade rune option, as you can equip all 6 of them and get the set bonuses without waste. Also, at the start of the game you get 7/14 (I cant remember) of free rune removal to help newer players with mana restraints, so it is best to make as much progress towards b10 here, and then just farm until free rune removal days. Meaning you can just keep upgrading lapis (or any other farmers) runes until you get the 6 star vampire runes.
Opinion Alert: Bagel picks the free Fatal 5* purple runes over the energy and blade sets. While this is the more popular choice, and definitely not a bad one, I would have chosen differently. I always Choose the 5* purple Blade rune set. In the fatal set it gives you 6 fatal runes with the main stats being all attack%. While this is usable, it leaves you needing to farm for 2 equally good runes to get the full 4/2 set bonus or waste the 2 bonus for the 6 fatal. This will get your monster with a high attack stats and if your lucky, low/moderate crit rate. These runes generally don't work well as a "complete build" meaning they need other runes that you need to farm for.However if you chose to farm a slot 2 speed rune, the fatal set bonus can compensate for the loss in attack. While the blade set on the other hand work exceptionally well as a "complete set" and can even be broken apart and pieced together into other sets easily because they are a highly valued(early game) 2 set. The set itself is very powerful being 3 sets of blade with attack%, crit damage, attack% main stats. If lucky you can get stats that get up to 85-100% crit rate and 115-135 crit damage with some decent attack. This means that if used together, this set gives one unit MASSIVE early game damage. At this point in the game you normally do not have access to decent crit damage build. The only draw backs(which it shares with the fatal set) of the set is usually the low speed, but that could be fixed by sacrificing some attack by replacing slot 2 with a speed stat. The blade set, in my opinion, gives overall a more effective set to start with, along with more options when splitting them up. This used to make more of a difference, but now with the change in rewards and the addition of the maxed 6* vampire revenge set, it will give you a faster push to get the vampire runes as well as some decent blade set options later on when split up. This is just my opinion, coming from 6+ years of play. Thanks for reading and feel free to comment your opinion on why the blade set is/isn't the better choice.
Bagel make sure you track actually time played! So many people make beginner accounts and then say, "I did this in 21 days" when they played the account 8 hours a day for 21 days straight. So i like this "in under 24hrs" thing, keep track of the hours, players will love you for it! Edit: Please go through all the challenge rewards, you'll then be aware of what you actually get so you can plan accordingly
Btw, if you use a ex booster during the first 2 weeks of the game(the blessing) you get 3x ep and can farm a lot faster, and triple shield 5* Shannon (spd,hp,hp) is really good in gb12, bc she is wind she dosn’t need energy or swift, and 3 shield is great for Loren and fran

Decided to go on and see where it would've taken me. Couple MS later, I get a Mellia and a Verde. It was at that point that I decided i'd keep the account. Once I finished the first stage of Summoner's way and got myself the legendary scroll, I got a Bastet. Literally couldn't have hoped for a better start. I think this new account is going to take the place of my main real quick. Spent 2k days on that one, and aside a decent amount of Nat5s, I'm still quite some way off farming GB12 and DB12 reliably.
I made an alt the other month and had 3 6* in under a week and im just like... in 2014 it took forever for just one 6*. So much has changed just to help people try to catch up and to be honest, com2us did a good job on it.
The episode number on the thumbnail is covered by the time. And the episode number in the title is at the end so its impossible to see which episode it is, at least for me. Maybe switch thumbnail sides so the number is on the right side.
You get double wishes for the first 15d because of the "Goddess's Blessing". I use Lapis in my gb12 team, nb12, as my Famion farmer, and in ToA, and occasionallyin Siege/GW. And for the longest time she carried me in dragons and arena. Aoe atb multihit first skill, multi target def break 2nd skill, and aoe absorb hp and atb 3rd skill. She is definitely underrated for early to mid game.
probably doesnt matter to ya, but there is an achievement where you buy every item in the shop and it does work when you buy everything even if the slots arent open yet.
My Lapis at 6* was in 18 hours... divided among the day for grinding exp, and some days where i grind for essences. Best RNG for essences I've ever had.

Dont have a bella yet (main rolled 3 light salamander dungones in a row...) but do have kona 5* max skilled. Lots of fun making progress while my main spams dragons all day and the only thing to do is sell poopy runes

If you use exp booster while “beginner’s blessing” is active, exp gain will be x3. Newbie blessing “adds” 100% exp and exp booster multiplies the base exp gain.
I use Lapis to do HoH all the way through floor 10. I've tried many other setups for it, but for lvl 9 and 10 I always fall back on her. And I'm consistently c2 or c3 in Arena. It's one on the only places I use her still.
If this is supposed to be a beginner's guide for future players, I feel like Bagel should slow down a little bit and explain more. For instance, explaining how to skill up monsters, what angelmon/rainbowmon/devilmon are used for, how runes even work, how to lock monsters, and what runes to be looking for. I know he mentioned the dungeon order priority option, but I can see someone easily missing the importance of that part. Just a thought.

U don’t have to fuse veromos to get the achievements and the runes U actually get those for fusing any of the 5* fusion Monsters Atleast it was for me this way For example I got the rewards for fusing my bale and on my alt for fusing sigmarus
yoooooo... i had an argument with some people in my guild about who to fuse first. i said that vero was better first and they were saying sig was... i think they might have watched this video. XD i went on to explain that with vero you get a much needed debuff strip dot damage, and most importantly, usability. let me explain. when a noob account first starts off what is a big problem? runes right? well just by fusing veromos you get a rune set for him all you need to do is upgrade them, then ou can toss him into your team. i did it and i jumped straight to b10. i can clear it most times but i do lose every now and then.. also you can get him a new rune set once you do dragons.. a whole 6star rune set. now i need to fuse sig which i was gathering units for as i was building vero so im almost done. just need 3 more. my only worry is their survivability without darion... i need to up their health and better runes.. actually thats the best part too. my units have mediocre runes XD awell.

The stun is a lot less reliable than the freeze, though

triple shield shannon would be better at 6* 2a and with hp/hp/hp with spd subs so the shield is bigger
