- Still lovin it! Had to convert it to the 220 because the plug didn’t fit in my outlet. Bummer! The good thing is that the 220 lets you keep the heat while you’re using the jets. The Elite can’t be converted but the Premium can. Cost me 700 and a 50 dollar tip because he worked hard and was a nice guy. Haven’t had a problem since.
That dedicated 220v line is way to close to your hot tub. It should be at least 5ft away. Very dangerous.
Outstanding Video. 👍👍
It looks like you are using the hot tub inside your home. If so you need forced air ventilation to the outside and fresh air return in that room to avoid moisture and mold issues on your paint and drywall. Not to mention fresh air to avoid breathing all those chemicals. Otherwise nice tub. Have the smaller version myself outside and super easy to maintain and low cost to run. The hot tub plug is indeed 120v (all we have in US other than 240v direct wire) and does plug into a regular polarized gfci outlet. The outlet you show is a older outlet and looks like it might not be polarized (one blade wider than the other) That could have been the issue you had. A new gfci outlet would have gotten you up and going on 120v since that is what is used in US.
Thanks so much Jason for that feedback! Makes sense. We are in a sun room and we keep the windows open plus we have 3 ceiling fans going. I’m hoping we should be ok. So far so good. I’m learning as I go. Lol. That humming noise that was troubling me is the filter working! It’s on. a 12 hour cycle I believe. Great advice. Thank you!!
Why would anyone want to put a tub in the house?
Well actually many do. The reason we did it is because we have the perfect room for it. It’s a big sunroom so it’s right off the garden where we can look out at the beautiful palms, plants and flowers. I don’t do well with bugs lol so it’s more of a sanctuary for me. It stays very clean because no debris flies in. It’s more peaceful and private. It’s kind of like why you wouldn’t want your bath tub outside. Lol. Think of it as a giant, bubbly bath tub. I don’t know. But I’m sure it would be nice having an outdoor spa too. I just prefer this one in my sunroom.
Hi Gina, does the spa comes with a cover?
Hi Luis. Yes. It comes with a cover. It comes with the filter too.
@@ginarichi7308 thank you sharing all your videos, we order the same Aquarest 600 and it will be arriving in July.
@@luisarturobaldera that’s wonderful! You will love it. Any questions, let me know. If I can answer them, I’d be happy to.
Now that it's converted, does the heat run at the same time as the jets?
Yes. Both simultaneously now.
@@ginarichi7308 thanks. I'm getting my tub sometime this summer!
