So many catchphrases “let me work”, “we got all night”, the NOI trademark smirk, suit, poise and command of audience and the Lion’s Den aggression. Just an incredible night for the culture of Battle Rap.

This round changed the landscape of battle rap. This round made folks really pay attention to battle rap and look at it as more than just some guys talking about a million ways they'd kill one another but it made people realize this is an actual art for and that these guys are really creative with wordplay. This round put battle rap on the map to make people want to invest in it because they saw the potential it had. This man came back from years off and was the reason why battle rap made it to the level it made it to honestly. This was the start of it.

Is round has been a gift and a curse for me as a fan. I remember being in awe when I first heard it. It was like getting high for the first time. And I've been chasing that feeling till this day. There have been plenty of amazing battle rappers and plenty of amazing rounds, but this Lux round will forever be the greatest round of all time imo.

This is the only reason I will accept when people say Lux won this. I think Calico killed him the first 2 rounds, and at the time, if you stumbled in a round, you basically lost the battle. Still upsets me to this day.

Have a bar. 10 years ago I had issues with the battle and shit didn't change. The whole shit was a set up. Biased New York crowd booing Cal for shit Lux just did, Smack with the biased intro, the first time we ever saw this level of props and costumes, the first time we allowed a choke that didn't invalidate the battle. That 7 minute 2nd verse and even the edited upload that made it seem like the criwd was only reacting to Lux. It was so much bull in the battle and I still had Calicoe winning 2-1. Cal had one weak spot in an otherwise amazing performance and that was that little stumble over the proctor bar, other than that he was on point. Fact is, Lux got away with shit nobody else could have. Not saying he wasn't spittin but the whole shit was a fix and Cal still had better rounds in my opinion.

Since then I have watched EVERYTHING and I mean everything with Loaded Lux. If I were ever a famous person I would literally ask and pay Loaded Lux to be my spokesman and advisor. Im of the belief that if Lux didnt have this type of third round, he may not be that well renouned as he is today perhaps. Yes he was top tiwr back then but this put him in God tier and its still talked about to this day. Mind you, he did choke a whole round essentially. That would've been a nail in the coffin for anyone else but he came back and delivered arguably the greatest round in battle rap history.
LUX never made it to his second and third round, arguably won this battle with one round. He actually released all three rounds on RUclips after this battle dropped.
